Dr. Diego Cahn-Hidalgo, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Cahn-Hidalgo's for 20+ years, and have the highest regard for him as my primary care physician. He has also taken on one of my adult children as a patient.He has been treating me for several years with medications for a chronic medical condition, which he closely monitors. The medicines he has prescribed have been doing a great job of keeping me healthy, with zero side effects. He has excellent knowledge of medical conditions, how best to treat them, and knows the best medications to use. I have complete faith and trust in his diagnoses, and recommended treatments. He stays on top of current research and can explain the reasoning behind his choice of treatments, based on current medical research. In the event a medical problem occurs which is beyond his scope of practice, he knows many of the best specialists in the UofR system, and even outside the U of R, and can quickly and easily make good referrals to these best providers for your condition.

I had my annual physical this morning. Dr. Cahn-Hidalgo is a wonderful physician and I am very blessed to be in his care. He took the time to explain-in detail about the vaccine and other medical related issues. He is in my opinion, the very best and it gives me such pleasure to be able to add this to all the other reviews!

I was very ill in his office, he took me to the ED @SMH and stay with me, to be sure I received the care I needed. He has known my children, No adults, and have guide me to their medical issues too. I have one word for this doctor, horrible! My father use to go to him and I was trying to help my dad explain something and he turned to me and said "he doesn't need your help!" Really? Has to be the worst doctor I ever encountered.

Dr. Cahn-Hidalgo is extremely knowledgeable and keeps current in his field. I know this because, as a biologist, I research all health issues concerns and/or questions I might have. He truly listens to his patients and spends the time looking at the concerns within the context of the whole person. His office staff and nurses are supportive, caring and efficient. I believe that any new physician should be mentored by him since his care giving for his patients should be their goal too.
