Unhelpful, Lacks Professionalism, Outright Rude
I dealt with Dr. Taylor back in 2023. Not only is he unprofessional, he is inflammatory. I had been having chest pain for months, in addition to episodes of a rapid heartbeat in the middle of the night when lying down. Not only did he dismiss each episode as anxiety-based (even though I had established early on that I was not feeling stressed, worried, and was in a generally jovial mood), he went as far as to outright state that I was bipolar, and insinuated that bipolarism 'might run in the family'. Dismissing the problem is bad enough. To make unsubstantiated claims against individuals and their respective families is indefensible. It is a stain on Riverside's reputation, and the medical profession as a whole that people like Dr. Taylor are employed in the profession. When you lack the courtesy of dealing with people you should not be employed in customer service-oriented fields. Not only would I not personally recommend him, I seriously question his competence.

I encountered Dr.Taylor in the ED. I came in with blurred vision and went over how it happened. He never asked me about anything I may have taken prior to coming in, but the first thing he did was drug test me. Then after speaking with a neurologist who advised that I get an MRI I heard him tell his colleague that he didn’t think it was “medically necessary”. Him, his attending, and the nurses on staff left me to sit until I went blind in one eye. I still haven’t regained my vision. I hope no other patients get treated this way.
