I had so much fear and anxiety about my appointment from a bad experience as a young adult. Dr. McBroom was understanding, sympathetic, informative and patient. He’s even pretty funny. He took his time before, during and after my toe procedure. Highly recommended!

Surgeon Dr. McBroom with Atlantic Foot and Ankle! My being a RN 30+ years and in Quality Assurance, Risk Mgt Nurse role for the last 7+ (and I did not tell any of the care team about my work profession). I can attest to the high clinical quality and care team approach that includes the patient as part of the care team; in which Dr. McBroom practices. He has an amazing physician-patient rapport and communication which prepared me for my surgery, answered all my questions; and trust me as a QA RN I had a list! Seriously though he was patient in answered each question; it was an extensive procedure and he made sure I was aware and ready. Achilles’ tendon debridement resection repair, flexor hallucis longus tendon transfer, calcaneus exostectomy, with gastrocnemius recession. I had the upmost trust I was and continue to be in great hands as he was upfront, that yes I have a long recovery time ahead of me, however he as well shared his confidence in me that I can do it successfully.

I was experiencing plantar fasciitis. Had seen a doctor for the same condition in Chicago years ago. Because of that horrible experience with a shot in the bottom of my foot, I was dreading that Dr. McBroom would recommend the same treatment. He assured me that he uses ultrasound to guide his shot which is not administered from the bottom of the foot. The shot was painless. I am now pain free, and will without a doubt, return to Dr. McBroom if my pain returns. It’s been over a month and I’m still pain free.

Dr McBroom did complicated surgery on my foot to correct a bunion and realign toes that were growing on top of each other. He is meticulous in his work and very skilled. He is compassionate and takes the needed time to address each concern. I couldn't be more pleased with the entire experience and highly recommend him.

Four months ago i had joint replacement surgery in my big toe due to severe arthritis. I was in extreme pain all the time. Today I am in my regular shoes and walking without pain. I am so grateful to Dr. McBroom for giving me back my ability to function without pain. He is the best. Very caring and honest. The office personnel are also wonderful. I would highly recommend Dr. McBroom.
