I look forward to my son's appointments with Dr Dutchak-Parmenter. She is at Pacifica Care of Suncoast now in Punta Gorda and since they are offering telehealth services now, it makes it so convenient. This business has really turned around since the old staff left and the new staff came on board. It is a wonderful place to visit!

Dr Dutchak is the kindest psychiatrist I have ever spoke with. She took extra time because I needed it and went out of her way to make sure she was prescribing all the medication I needed and sent them electronically to my pharmacy. She is an asset to Pacifica Care Of Suncoast in Punta Gorda!

We had seen Dr Dutchak maybe 4 times for my daughter's anxiety and depression. I was satisfied with her treatment, until the last time we saw her. She had my daughter Baker Acted for cutting, even though she had told her she had been cutting for years. Come to find out, it was her last day at Charlotte Behavioral, and it was easier to Baker Act my daughter, rather than work with her through the appointment. Within 10 minutes of the beginning of the appointment, we were inpatient. Glad she's no longer with Charlotte Behavioral.

After feeling like our concerns and observations of our child were being completely ignored by the Dr. we talked to the therapist about our concerns and the therapist (Tamara) explained that the appointments with the Dr. are timed and she needs to keep on schedule even if it means not listening to all of our concerns.
So, Dr. Dutchak is another typical "You're just a number and a paycheck to me" type doctor. Very sad when she is supposed to be helping children.

When you storm away from parents with your hands in the air saying “you figure it out” while they are concerned and only asking questions you being the last option for help ,you my dear are not qualified. Also unethical to leave out the important detail that you are going to the very practice that we are complaining about.

She has a wonderful, calm speaking voice and really connects with my pre-teen daughter. The low dose meds she prescribed for my daughter plus her insightful questions and suggestions are a great combination and have really helped. We are very happy with her care.

We were told to be there 30 mins early on the first appointment to complete paperwork only to be completely ignored the entire time until it was exactly the appointment time. The receptionist didn't even acknowledge us once prior. Then the doctor took my son off what he was currently taking and working for his ADD only to try to put him on Ritalin which NO pharmacy carries any more. After repeated attempts at contacting the doctor with no response we left the practice. Unprofessional....
