After my sister had a triple heart bypass done by Dr. McCollum, we found out not even three years later that she had not performed all three bypasses as she was supposed to have July 2017. My sister started having a heart attack February 2020 and she thought it was acid reflux. We were shocked when they took her in for an emergency stent, then showed us the pictures of her heart. One artery was still clogged and another artery wasn't even connected to allow blood to flow through it. I would definitely try to get more information about this doctor before you allow her to do surgery.

From the start she and her staff came to my room and explained all Pre op details of my procedure, Post op visit was as detailed and she held no punches as to what I just went through. I was relaxed knowing of her experience with what I had to undergo. TGMC Dr’s along with Dr’s from CIS have come through for me in the past, at that moment you’re trusting all players are on their game, it’s in Gods Hands after that. Then you go home, follow the Surgeon and her assistants instructions to the T and you’ll heal up just fine. During my first visit/checkup I was asked if I had any questions at all, I was not rushed at all during my visit. I would highly recommend Dr. Deborah McCollum to family and friends.

A wonderful physician. Explained everything about the valve replacement to be preformed and after the procedure, explained everything concerning the surgery. Had this procedure done approx. 1 1/2 years ago. Still clicking along. Pun intended. Yes, if you are given a choice of surgeons, chose her.

Told me that I should be”be happy” about what she had to say when she’d really said nothing. Wanted my daughter and myself to stop asking questions. Did not feel reassured at all. She scared me silly. Sought a 2nd opinion. Do not go to this lady. Probably the worst doctor/patient experience I’ve ever had.

Dr Deborah McCollum was consulted to do a thoracotomy with my Neurosurgeon. She is straightforward, honest, and listened to every concern I had. She gave me confidence in going forward. The surgery was very successful & the incision & drain sites are healing nicely. I recommend Dr McCollum.
