Dr. Dawnielle Kerner, MD

I have been under Dr Kerner’s care for about 15 years and other than having to wait to see her when I show up for an appt for greater than 2 hours for most appts I am very happy with her. She does a thorough exam and explains the status of my Glaucoma very well. She is also very apologetic about the wait and compassionate. As a Glaucoma specialist I understand that she may be called away to help answer calls from interns. Thank you.

I have been seeing Dr.Kerner for many years now I trust her very much ! Her staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. She gives you great advice and has done cataract surgery on both of my eyes.

I was impressed with Dr. Kenner’s experience and expertise with my eye concerns (dry eye and blepharitis). She did a good job of explaining these conditions and in recommending products to alleviate symptoms. The reason I am giving her 4 stars instead of 5 is because after my appointment I thought of a few questions, so had to call her office and receive help from her staff. I think that if Dr. Kerner had tried to anticipate some, what I think were common questions, during the appointment, I would not have needed to call later. She seemed a little rushed. That said, I would definitely return to her for any further treatment.

Dr. Kerner is by far the best Ophthalmologist that i've visited. She has a great ability to communicate effectively and empathically with me. She thoroughly and simplistically explains all facets of my appointments form examination results, to prescribed medications, their proper use and possible side effects. Since being referred to her, this is the first time in about 20 years that i've seen improvement in my optic pressure, after she had me discontinue the previously prescribed medications and take a new prescription which she prescribed. I would definitely recommend her to my family and friends for eye care treatment.

Excellent care

The best opthamologist in this area hands down! New equipment, friendly staff, years of experience and effective at communicating complex eye issues in understandable terms along with options for treatment. Went to a different doctor and ended up coming back due to the better experience and even being able to get scheduled in a timely manner.

Office staff members are not pleasant. Very difficult getting appointments. Staff was lazy in obtaining information from my previous doctor, which was from another state.
