Saved my life
My GP sent me to Dr. True for a consult of multiple concerning symptoms & high CRP and SedRate levels. He listened carefully & asked several specific questions as he examined me. Although I had several autoimmune type symptoms, I didn’t complete the criteria for any particular one. However he suggested I have a sleep study done since untreated sleep apnea can cause most of my symptoms. He communicated with my GP, who followed his recommendation. Had I not seen him, I wouldn’t be here today. I had severe results from my sleep study that alarmed my doctor. She immediately ordered a CPAP before my appointment to take the second portion of the sleep studyy. She said I might not live that long! It’s been 4 years now., I’m so much better still have a ways to go since my system is building back from the effects of low oxygen and periods of no oxygen during the night. Thank you Dr. True. It’s sad news that you closed 417, but wish you the very best.

STAY AWAY from this place! I have never been treated as badly as I was treated here. They lie, are rude, & argumentive. The young receptionist that sits next to door is VERY RUDE. She had a attitude soon as I got there, doesn't use simple pleasantries like please or thank you. Instead when asking for my ID she just jerked it out of my hand, & also yelled across the waiting room that I had a co-pay. Plus, his nurse was argumentive, & not helpful. The Dr. lies. I specifically asked before booking my appointment if they see patients that have other forms of arthritis and I as was told yes, & their website says they treat other arthritis, plus other conditions. After I saw the Dr. he told me that he only sees Rheumatoid patients. Lastly, it seems the Dr. only does the bidding of his nurse (which seems like a family member). The worst patient experience I have ever had. You expect people in this line of work to be caring, kind, & helpful, they were not.

Fantastic doctor, sad to see him leave Springfield! He is extremely kind and thoughtful, making it easy to talk to him, as well as being extremely proactive...he helps you with all aspects of your care, and if something requires another Dr.’s expertise, he works with them to come up with the best course of action, specific to your case. I’m a lupus patient, and have seen several Drs throughout the years, and I could tell Dr. True genuinely cares about his patients. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. True has been my Rheumotolist for many years.. I was scared at first he would be as good as Dr. Schwartz.. Dr, True listened and made changes in medicines as needed and made test when necessary. I really hate to see him leave.

Very quiet and intimidating at first sight BUT does listen and thoroughly exams new patients & very polite & comforting. WILL write and promptly notify if his first diagnosis is wrong also get you back in promptly for further treatment. Example I was allergic to 1st med & would NOT proscribe new med. Until I came in & was educated on possible side effects before prescribing new medication and gave me the choice on how I wanted to proceed and very adamant about routine blood work
