90 yr old symptoms ignored
My 90 yr old mom sees Dr Hall. She had had a wonderful doctor until he retired. Dr. Hall barely acknowledges her symptoms. She asked him to write her a recommendation for handicapped decal since she has and is treated for her legs. He refused. He also neglected other symptoms I.e. pain in her lower abdominal among other complaints. He seems uninterested in her health.

Feeling brushed under the rug
I got labs a month ago and was found to be extremely anemic due to my iron level of 8. Hall referred me to a GI for endo/colonoscopy. Also referred me to a cardiologist. Why? I don't know. But I was told by the cardiologist that I needed to see a hematologist ASAP. Apparently I need an iron infusion. Why my PC didn't refer me a month ago is a mystery. I've told Halls staff that I've been in bed for a month. So weak. I feel that I've not received quality care. Why did it take a cardiologist and not my primary care doctor to recognize the importance of a hematologist?

Dr. Hall is amazing! He’s so compassionate, patient, and genuinely interested in his patients. I’m a very talkative person, and Dr. Hall patiently listens to everything I say in a very attentive manner. He makes you feel respected and cared about. Plus, his smile is so authentic and sweet. He’s just a great Doctor. I’m so lucky to be his patient, especially considering I’ve had bad luck with primary doctors in the past. I feel as if I can really trust Dr. Hall. :)
