Dr. Charles Lichty, MD

I used to be a patient of Dr. Lichtey and he was absolutely the best doctor that I have ever had. Now that I have insurance I will be going back to him

I had been seeing dr. Lichty for 5+ years. He seemed so sweet and sincere. I enjoyed going to see him. His staff is not friendly at all but i enjoyed dr. Lichty do i stayed around. My past few visits were not so pleasant. A medicine i had been on for several years he cut my dose in half with no explanation. Then he referred me to a physiatrist that helps people getting off medicine. He was my go to doctor for everything but not anymore.

A 15 year + patient. He has always seemed well informed, open and informative, quick to refer if that seems appropriate, always polite and, when he has time, friendly. Oh, and his “doctoring” first rate.

I would definitely recommend my doctor. Mr lichty is a sweet understanding man. I came in with a problem and Mr lichty did everything he could to help me.

AWESOME!!! Dr. Lichty is an excellent doctor who listens to his patients. He does NOT assume what is wrong before additional testing or input from specialists to give an accurate diagnosis of the problem. He is the very best doctor I have!!! His calm approach is greatly appreciated it helps tremendously when someone is already concerned about your health. I hold him in high regards. A CHRISTIAN PHYSICIAN & GENTLEMAN certainly qualified!!

Dr. Lichty is very knowledgeable, he listens before diagnosing your situation. He is open to suggestions in providing the best course of care, inclusive of referrals to specialists & additional testing.

Dr. Lichty is the BEST MD!! He is a brilliant physician who takes the time to listen to his patients and then clearly explain his diagnosis and plan of treatment. I highly recommend him. He is knowledgeable on the latest research and works very hard to make sure each patient is provided excellent care. And his entire staff is both friendly and efficient. I’m very thankful to have found Dr. Lichty. He is truly a wonderful doctor.

I have lived in many parts of the United States and had many Physicians in my 78 years and Dr. Lichty is the finest Doctor I have ever had. He listens, cares, and is right on in his diagnosis.

Dr. Lichty is an excellent MD. I worked with him some time ago and still use him as my PCP. I know first hand the compassion and concern he gives each and every patient, including myself. He is very thorough which I love. I refer any family or friend I know that needs a PCP to him and every one has had an excellent experience and use him regular. His staff is better than awesome too!

He seems pleasant in person, but it's impossible to talk to him out of the office. No one there will put you through to him when you need him. For that reason, I am marking him down a couple stars. Sometimes you need teh doctor and not a nurse to answer your questions, and Dr. Lichty is always unavailable.

Great doctor and almost no waiting. By the time I sit down, I'm already being called back to the exam room. My husband was his patient first, and he had serious diabetes, so bad his vision was going bad. After Dr. Lichty put him on treatments, his vision got better and his blood sugar is under control. I think he saved my husband's sight, and probably his life too!

Until I talked to Dr. Lichty's assistant today, I didn't even know you could rate doctors online. Since I found that out, I wanted to take the time to recommend the best doctor I've ever had. He's very soft spoken, he doesn't yell or fuss, he just makes gentle suggestions if he gives you lifestyle advice. He takes his time, he never makes you feel rushed, and even if you forgot to ask something and go back, he'll take time out of his day to listen and answer your questions. He's the BEST!

This man is so caring and helpful. I really feel he saved my life. I recommend anyone to go to him. He is amazing. So calm and so patient.

I'm usually taken in at my appointment time, sometimes before it. Dr. Lichty is compassionate,thorough and takes the time to listen. Many of the medical tests can be done there at Southview Medical. I would highly recommend Dr. Lichty.

Dr. Peter Lichty is THE best primary care doctor in Alabama. Heck that I have ever had. He is caring,kind and professional. He takes the time to listen and understand the problem. Then does his best to fix it. Thank you!! All his staff is good but Daniel is exceptional.
