Years of knowledge and practice
While his office leaves a lot to be desired (think circa 1970) and technologically I have to rate the office a 0, Dr. Gullett really knows his stuff. He takes his time with you, asks the right questions and works to get you up and going again. After having many much younger Primary Care physicians I have to say that Dr. Gullett spins circles around them and for me to say that is saying a lot.

Run Away…
I’m so tired of this doctor’s office. My mother has been a patient here for a couple years now and they are so inconsistent with care. We’ve been trying to get her medications filled and the pharmacy hasn’t received the scripts yet. We’ve checked for 3 days! The receptionist is a NIGHTMARE here. She talks over patients on the phone, she doesn’t listen, and frankly, it seems like she just wants to flex her power when she answers the phone. She hung up on me 3 times. And then she wants to try to correct me about being rude to her. I’m certain the AVERAGE age of the staff at this clinic is 70+ and *Ma’am*, my generation doesn’t hand out respect just because you’re geriatric. My concern is my mother and her medication. The pharmacy doesn’t have the script. That’s not their fault. It’s her doctor. The receptionist and the doctor are black belts in talking over patients. They don’t listen. They aren’t thorough. They’re old. Outdated. Rude. And too far set in their ways…

He listens. Is very knowledgeable. Spends all the time you need to feel comfortable with things. Nurses really take time to listen to you too.. Love the old way feel office he has and operates. Staff are excellent too. Very kind. They get you in fast as a new patient. I moved here in May. Called lots of around and wanted me to fill this out, that out. Wait months. Didn't answer phones had to leave messages. I knew when someone picked up immediately they were my new dr. I was like, yes! This is how a drs office is suppose to run. I'll take old school over new school any day. He diagnosed me with diabetes to my surprise as I had just had labs run before I left my old home dr. They didn't find anything. They ran labs my 1st visit for anything. Grateful hes my Dr. And is thurough.

I had my very first appointment with Dr Gullett last week. He was very professional, very knowledgeable and personable. I felt at ease in the office, I felt at ease in the examination room. I had to go to Tennova to have blood work and an x-ray. They were quick and efficient. I did not feel well at all that day. So I really didn't want to hang around I really wanted to go home. They had me in and out in no time. Staff very helpful!

Have been going to Dr Gullett for over 22 years now. Because of the distance, I changed to a closer Doctor and after 1 appointment with the new Dr, I begged to come back to his practice. He has no problems listening to your illnesses and takes care of your problems. A year ago, I was having a what I thought was neck pains and he determined I was, in fact, having a mild heart attack. Honestly, I am alive today because of his keen observations and knowledge.

The office itself is creepy and decorated like a funeral parlor with Jesus and angel statues and bible verses and pictures of birds everywhere. The place is so antiquated that you can't even pay them over the phone. You have to pay in person with cash or check. Or you can mail a check.

From the moment I walked in the door the staff was inviting and friendly. The Dr. listened to all my concerns, took time to talk to me about them, and took the time to find out a little about me in general. The doctor and staff made me feel very comfortable and like they were genuinely concerned with my health. It was a GREAT change of pace with my experiences with doctors in the past. Before I felt like I was just a dollar sign. Dr. Gullett and staff make me feel like a person.

I used to go to this doctor when I lived in Tennessee. He always took care off all my needs. Miss his office. I live in Florida now. Terrible medical services here.
