Dissatisfied
Have been seeing Dr. Echeverri for years. After waiting months for my scheduled appointment date to arrive, received a call on a Friday afternoon of a holiday weekend (appointment was scheduled for Tuesday) about my insurance card showing a different PCP than Dr. Echeverri. Was told I needed to have it updated before my appointment or the office would cancel my appointment. Spoke with my insurance company Monday and had them correct the name to Dr. Echeverri. The doctor’s office called me as I was having my info updated and stated they cancelled my appointment. I called them back and told them everything been updated, but because the system can take up to 48 hours to show the update on their end, they could not see me. I said I would pay for the appointment out of pocket as I’d already been waiting over 2 months to see him. Was told I could not do that because I have insurance and they don’t allow those with insurance to self-pay. Was denied healthcare and needed prescription renewals.

I went for a follow up appointment today and he answered every question he wasn’t in a hurry I feel comfortable talking to him about my every need he does his best to help me I will be telling my friends about him I really do like him I hope he keeps the compassion he has now later on.

Knowledgeable, great listener, great with Teens
We came to Dr Echiverri with our sons immune complexity, and he has been proactive with care, offering referrals and proper testing. He has provided a trusting doctor-patient relationship with our teen. He is never rushed, and always compassionate.

Dr Echiverri is the Best general practitioner I’ve ever had! He also has patient privileges at South Baldwin Medical Center. He is so caring and has an excellent bedside manner. He’s very knowledgeable in chronic conditions (ex. Diabetes care).
