Dr. David Diamant, MD

This is the only doctor in the upstate that has listened to all of my concerns, offered helpful suggestions to try, and is truly trustworthy with my medical care. I've been seeing him for a few years now and even though he is no longer covered by my insurance, I still see him and pay out of pocket because he is truly that good! If you want a doctor who listens to you, doesn't rush appointments, and is willing to run as many tests as needed to help diagnose and come up with the best treatment plan, he is it! Also, super quick to respond to messages via MyChart as well. Truly the best in the upstate!

I sent some mychart messages about a couple medical issues I was having because I wanted it documented. Also asked about a couple labs to run. Dr. Diamant or someone on his staff requested an appointment. I obliged because I thought he had concerns or cared but the appointment turned into an ambush and it became clear the doctor didn't know why he requested the appointment. It was a very upsetting visit. The doctor was unprepared, dismissive and suggested I needed therapy and a psychiatrist because he thought my problems were due to depression, without any direct evidence what is causing my depression. The only thing he managed to convince me was symptomatic treatment is a huge problem in America. Maybe he's overworked? ?? I'm sure they enjoyed collecting my copay and charging insurance for the visit.

I really think hes better than 90 percent of doctors. Sadly most doctors dont understand there isnt tests for everything and you can be extremely sick from things unexplainable by tests, such as food sensitivities and reactions to food additives and therefore eating problems. Modern medicine really doesnt help us much if it is a complicated or not usually seen illness. Doctors should be more open to new or different illnesses. But he tries his best makes the effort and understands more than most doctors ever will.

Dr. Diamant is great but the practice doesn't have a responsive office and the phone systems dont seem to work well.
