Dr. Timothy Moon, DO

Dr Moon truly actively listens to me. He is an evidence based medical practitioner who looks at all of my symptoms, including my height, weight, family health history, activity level and diet. He's into a holistic type approach to medicine (because he is an osteopath). I love that he does not push pills and prefers to try options to medications first. I, as well - don't believe in quick fixes. He asks lots of questions because he wants to truly understand what is going on with his patients. He is a 'tell it like it is' Doctor - so, if you want sugar coated - eat a cookie ~ if you want quality care - from someone who listens, he's an excellent choice in my opinion.I felt he took the time that was needed to adequately listen and understand my needs. I did not feel rushed. The staff was excellent. He encourages follow up care to see if what was recommended has worked. I appreciate his candidness and care.

I can sum it up in just two words - Medical Gaslighting. He is rude, not very good with medical diagnostic care but instead talks only of how you need to make lifestyle changes (and acts as if he doesn’t believe you when you’ve told him: “Tried that. Am doing that. It doesn’t appear to be effective, so I think something else is going on.” Gets irritated easily and is impatient. Makes snarky, unprofessional comments and blamed me for my symptoms. Says patients want a “magic pill instead of doing the work”, yet cannot even give me a diagnosis.

Dr. Moon treats myself and family members. He listens and explains thoroughly questions asked of him. He treat us with dignity and respect.
