did not follow up with me or family member post-op. do not know what took place in surgery. Called and said pain had gotten worse and he said to deal with it. not even come in and let's make sure everything is okay. Never made a follow up appointment. Said to call in a week to let him know how I was doing. I did that and it was a total waste of time. I have not received the bill forr this yet but the way I was handled I am sure it will be a lot more than it should be. It has been 4 weeks since my MVA and I am still in a lot of pain. My primary physician has scheduled me with a different spine doctor and restricted my work. Benavides sent me back to work 2 days after the kyphoplasty

Went to find out why back still hurts from previous surgery, 2nd opinion. He use xrays from 2 yrs from post op. He never listened to what my symptoms I explained. He told me, 'perfect exam, nothing is wrong.' I asked for new xrays and mir, however he denied ordering. What upset me the most were the staff telling me they couldn't pull my records, etc. from KRMC as they were separate from it even though their office was in the same building. How did he pull up my xrays? WASTE OF MY TIME!

He is honest and forthright! answered all of my questions and focused on what was going to give me the best possible result

Dr. Benavides did excellent work on the problem with my neck. The way he paid attention to my every pain, and the excellent result was tremendous!

This surgeon completed a two level lumbar fusion for me. I wish I would have used him for my prvoius back surgeries. He was kind, supportive and each step made sure I felt comfortable with the care plan.

This doctor is very mean and unprofessional. He was so mean to my wife that he made her cry. He basically called her a liar and refused to do anything to help her. I have ever eard from several other people that he treats all of his patients poorly, and seems like he wants to humiliate them. He is especially rude to female patients. I would not recommend him to anyone, and we will be seeking care elsewhere.

Was sent to Dr. David Benavides for a nerve block and during the examination he used his fingernails to pinch the top of my left foot. My feet are numb up to my knees and I didn't notice that he had pinched the top of my foot so hard that he left fingernail marks and a bruise where he pinched me... I have plenty of photos of it... I can't trust a doctor who intentionally hurts me for no reason. I don't bruise easily it takes a lot for me to bruise.
