Dr. Dara Wilczynski, DO

Dr. Dara W. is well educated, well versed in her patients and wants the best for them. She takes her time and listens thoroughly and tells it how it is, with different options. I appreciate her and the time she takes. She is never upset, mean or dismissive like other Doctors around here. She truly cares. Highly Recommended!

Dismissive. Explicitly told patient there was, “No hope.”

I've seen experienced and well-intentioned (mental) healthcare providers for more than 20 years, and it's only with Dr. W where I finally feel heard and seen. She's not a medication manager, she's a caretaker. She provides what is in her patient's best interests, she gently encourages, and compassionately validates. I hope she continues where she's at, though I understand a place like this may be a stepping stone before something great, which I get because the world needs more of her; for selfish reasons, though, I hope she can continue to be an important part of my care team.

She is genuine and obviously took her education seriously. I'm a fan.
