Very Caring doctor
Dr. Laws is an unbelievably caring doctor. As I was going through cancer last year, he put me on his church’s prayer list and even sent get well cards. If that’s not a caring doctor, I don’t know what is. I highly recommend Dr. Laws to anyone!

Dr. Laws attitude
My wife went to see Dr. Laws after her PC retired. Dr. Laws was extremely rude and formed opinions before getting to know his patient. He vehemently indicated her pain medication doctor was wrong in his care for the patient and he wanted her off all medications before having any evidence of the cause for pain. By the time he finished his discourse, my wife was in tears. By her testimony, Dr. Laws was short with her and spoke with words and body language his disdain. Perhaps he was having a "bad day" or perhaps this is his manner with all patients. I do not recommend this doctor because his patients should be handled with compassion. I'm sure he is a good doctor medically, but based on the emotional pain he caused my wife, he is lacking in approachability. This man will not be my wife's doctor. One should not be brought to tears and emotional anguish with a verbal onslaught.

I hate that he has such a low rating. It certainly does not indicate the level or type of treatment you would receive. I’ve been with Dr. Laws for many years and have followed him back down to Ennis. He is the only Dr that gets my ADHD. I’ve referred at least 10 people to him and they all love him. One time during my checkup for my ADHD meds, I had a rib out. He asked if I needed anything else and he put it back in place. Very easy to work with. His demeanor may not jive with everyone but I love him. He’s literally been a life saver with my ADHD. And now that I have a rare genetic condition he has ordered all the tests I’ve requested as we’ve tried to get to the bottom of it. The only thing I would change is the drive. But TBH, he’s worth it. And does video chats once your meds are set up and if there are not changes.

I love Dr. laws he diagnosed and treated me with ADHD for the first time in my life and everything about my homeless job life social life has improved dramatically and my life has just turned around 100% percent. I love Sarah who works in the front office she is very helpful and friendly and I always feel welcome and I am informed they’re upfront about everything so there are no surprises and as long as you do what they ask you to do it’s a straightforward process. Huge thanks to Dr. Laws and the staff here.

Office staff is rude and unprofessional. They discuss your confidential information with you in front of other patients in the middle of the lobby area rather than having you go to a private area and are very apathetic. The doctor is knowledgeable, but appears to be more concerned with making extra money by pushing expensive and unnecessary testing. It is very sad to see what medicine has come to.

I have been seeing Dr. Laws for almost 2 years now for regular checkups and Adult ADHD. Dr. Laws and his staff have consistently mis-written my monthly prescriptions, treated me poorly, and dealing with them has been incredibly difficult. Each of my past 4 visits I have had to revisit them to get my prescriptions re-written or corrected. Whether this is due to lack of effort and apathy or sheet incompetence, I would highly recommend that any patients go anywhere but here.

Dr. Laws is my hero. He diagnosed me with chronic atrial fibrillation. I went to cardiologist Dr. Michael Issac at Medical city in Dallas. Long story short. Dr. Bailey out of Austin performed the ablating surgery. I am doing great now thanks to Dr. Laws diagnosis that put me on the right path.
