Amazing hand surgeon! I highly recommend her. I cut all my fingers and thumb on my right hand by a freak accident with my table saw. 5-1/2 hours of surgery she put me back together. The index finger couldn't be saved as no blood flow could be reestablished, it was too ripped up to save it so it was amputated but 7 months later I am doing great, doing my last PT Hand session in 2 days, was cleared by her today, and doing more with my hand than I would have ever imagined would be possible if you had seen what all my fingers and thumb looked like after getting cut by the table saw blade. A piece of wood kicked back my hand into my chest hard enough to bounce my hand off my chest, and under the guard making one heck of a mess. I can see why she is held in such high regard at Strong Memorial Hospital as a hand surgeon specialist. God Bless that we have wonderful doctors, nurses, and all the other wonderful staff at URMC. I thank them all for giving me a chance to continue doing things now.

My hand was torn up by a table saw and Dr. Wilbur was able to repair 4 of my 5 fingers while using the other that wasn't saved to assist in fixing my hand. Her optimism kept me calm and her skill gave me the best outcome I could have thought of. I would recommend her for anyone in need of hand surgery!

Since birth I've had only two fingers on my right hand, and have been a professional furniture and cabinet maker for more than 40 years. Well, it finally happened, I cut my middle and ring fingers on my left hand on my table saw. Dr. Wilbur is an genius and an artist. After an hour in surgery I have full use of my left hand and fingers. The tips are a numb, but feeling gradually returning as well. This very professional and talented young lady is compassionate and a great communicator.
