Dr. Giesler is Amazing!
There are not enough words to express how satisfied i was with Dr. Giesler, her staff and the hospital staff. Dr. Giesler is very caring, listens to you intently and provides all necessary information and answers all of your questions. She is very comforting to help ease anxiety about any procedure you are having. I have had a few medical procedures done and this one with Dr. Giesler, her staff and the hospital staff was the best experience i have had!

Dr. Danielle Giesler and her PATIENCE!
I've known Dr. Giesler for several years and been under her care several times. She has a unique way of making each patient feel that perhaps they are her only patient. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed and just sat on the bed and chatted almost every time she came in my room! It's evident she loves what she does and truly cares about each patient.

Accommodating
After a weekend of gastro distress, I called Dr. Geisler’s office for an appointment. When the person answering (Tequila) understood my situation, she was able to squeeze me in that same afternoon. I really appreciated that. Dr. Geisler performed a delicate surgery on my wife two years ago and was more than pleased with the results. Dr. Geisler’s minimum invasion techniques are the future.

Worst medical experience ever
I had hemorrhoidectomy with fissure. I had complications involving excessive bleeding immediately after discharge. Dr. Came to look at me in the er since she was on site and determined nothing was wrong. Her office then dismissed me for several days as I continued to contact them about passing massive clots until I told them I wanted to send pictures. Then they were concerned and wanted me to come back in immediately.Geissler seemed confused and annoyed about my post surgical complications and appeared to make up an extremely painful treatment for my continued blood production on the spot during my appointment.0 out of 5, do not recommend.

Dr Geisler is awesome, staff horrible
I’m not really sure why I continue to have so much trouble with her staff. They never follow through, ignore my needs, act as if I’m a burden. Dr. Geisler is amazing always has been.

Amazing listening skills. Was able to call out a problem that at least 10 other doctors never mentioned. Hit the nail on the head. Of all the Drs. I went to she was the only one to bring up scar tissue. She talked to me about all the problems that may arise and all the different ways we could approach this problem. All the other doctors wanted to say my problem was because of the pain medication. Well guess what it was scar tissue. Even though there are other problems associated with an iealostomy I thank God I walked thru her office door I believe that you will be too.My surgery was I believe in 2016. My memory is not so good anymore as am now 73.Danielle just keep believing In yourself as there's a lot people that believe in you May God Bless and keep you safe. Allen E

Horrific Experience- Colonoscopy, too busy to care
Horrific Experience - Tele appointment w her rushed - I called to get surgery scheduled as scheduler did not, then no pre op instructions, I had to request. Insurance claim filed incorrectly, requested payment upfront, when it's 100% coverage for colonoscopy. Surgery day running an hour behind she seemed rushed. Asked about pain management for after the surgery, as I have a low level of pain tolerance and I was told she would talk to me later about it. She never did, nor did she tell anything to my Husband. I called her office to request some pain medicine, I was told they would message her, and someone would call me back. NO ONE DID. I spent a hell of a night in pain, taking warm showers, and overdosing myself on over the counter medicine every couple of hours. I called the next morning, they contacted her, took them 8 hours to call me back. JUST a colonoscopy, she would not provide any pain medicine. By that time, it didn't matter, I was through most of the difficult part.

Smart and efficent
Just went in to schedule a coloscopy and get checked out. She had trouble getting in to the office for my appointment and the staff was kind enough to call me. I rescheduled for a few hours later. I appreciate that very much. Everyone in the office was congenial and professional. Dr Giesler is smart and a good communicator. No complaints.

I cannot speak of Dr. Giesler yet, but I had a good experience with her nurse practitioner Maureen. I have some weird symptoms that don't fully line up with normal things, but definitely felt like we are headed in the right direction. This was only a initial visit to get checked out with a surgery scheduled in a few days, so will update then if needed. Now onto the staff. Shelly was FANTASTIC. She could tell I was worried and concerned when scheduling the surgery because insurance is always an issue, but she took care of it like a Rockstar. She asked if i was in a hurry, which i wasn't, and she got straight on the phones with insurance, surgery centers, etc. and was able to get it all scheduled. I have never been around someone while they are doing this, but let me tell you, there is a lot of calls, medical codes, redirects, in network checks to get this all lined up. I have had some doctors take weeks to get me maybes, in what she was able to get done in a matter of minutes.

Dr. Giesler and her entire staff were outstanding. The initial consultation was informative and complete, calming my fears about my condition and preparing me for the path forward. As a surgeon, Dr. Giesler is top notch. The follow up and after care was first rate, as well. Each member of her staff worked with me and each interaction was a positive experience. They have a great group. Above all, I was treated with dignity and respect by everyone on the team. I strongly recommend Dr. Giesler and her team.

Dr. Giesler is such a wonderful doctor and surgeon. I unexpectedly had to go through two surgical procedures with such short notice, and she perfectly handled them in a calm and collected manner up until the point I was completely healed. She was always very kind when approaching me, attentive when listening to my needs, and thorough when answering my questions. My family had always gotten the assistance we needed anytime we reached out to the staff or Dr. Giesler outside appointments as well. I highly recommend Dr. Giesler for anyone looking for a colorectal specialist.
