I expected more from specialist Dr. Lygrisse
I was raised to always respect doctors. Always greet them and speak to them as one would talk to a person with knowledge and wisdom. Dr. Lygrisse isn't a person who returns that kind of respect to a "common person". I was there to find out the results of my MRI (ordered by my primary care dr) and why the results were labeled as urgent. All Dr. Lygrisse told me was the result of a simple x-ray that was done at his office. Not MRI results. He later claimed to my doctor's staff that he went over the results of the MRI and explained them to me. He did not. My hand is fine now and I know this. But I was initially frightened and I made all of my appointments. I just wanted to know why the MRI showed 2 fractured bones and possible ligament damage in my hand. A simple explanation. But I was told by Dr. Lygrisse that I had one broken bone that had healed and was fine now. Class dismissed. I would call this dissimisive and a lack of respect for someone I'm suppose to respect.

I broke my right wrist in a fall from six feet. The ER I went to offered no suggestions as to whom I should contact. The surgeon I contacted was on vacation, the second surgeon felt my break was too severe for him to tackle (he is not a hand specialist) but he did refer me to Dr Daniel Lygrisse. He informed me that he could not indicate the quality of the surgeon because he was relatively new to the area. I was in pain, so I contacted Lygrisse. From the moment I met him I was put at ease because he explained the break, the severity of the break and what he would do to fix the problem. He told me in terms I could understand and I felt very comfortable with him. When it came time for surgery, he got me in quickly (I met him two days after the accident and I was in surgery the following day). Following the surgery Lygrisse explained my limits for the time being as well as what could be expected of me. Informative and always comprehensive in a manner I completely understood, I was

I am very impressed with the care I received from Dr. Lygrisse. He has done a carpal tunnel surgery and a trigger finger surgery for me. He is very caring and I healed up quickly with no issues. He is also very easy on the eyes!! ;)

I had fallen over Thanksgiving break and was seen in his office for my wrist. He helped answer all of my concerns and placed me into a splint molded to my arm. He was very caring and even sat and talked to my son on the phone answering his questions.

Dr Lygrisse is the best! He took care of our child and did a fantastic job! Our poor boy broke both of the bones in his arm and needed surgery. Dr Lygrisse saw him immediately took him immediately to surgery even though he was supposed to be leaving town! I can tell he truly cares about his patients and that they get the best care possible. Our son is doing great!

Did a hand surgery fellowship, but is not board certified. I addressed concerned prior to surgery, but post op he refused to listen. Documented inappropriately that I was happy with the procedure when I have a long term post op complication. I now have to follow up with another surgeon for surgical repair of something he could have avoided.
