Dr. Joshua Romero, MD

Dr. Romero combines graciousness with intelligence and skill. He takes you as you are and helps you reach a higher level of function, encouraging optimal health without judging when you face barriers. He has his feet on the ground and his eyes open. Despite his prestigious environment, he is humble while still being appropriately confident. He's respectful. During my last visit with Dr. Romero, he showed me how my loss of fitness after injury affected my walking and made me more vulnerable to other injuries. The fact that he took the time to demonstrate that actively made his point memorable. I'm normally much fitter than the average person, but recovery from the incident has been complex. So, his extra effort encouraged me and prevented me from lowering my fitness standards. Dr. Romero's warmth and respect make him more of a healer than a physician disengaged from the patient's experience, which is too common in some clinics.
