Off-putting attitude & lack of treatment options
My experience with Dr. Kassicieh was negative in almost every aspect. On my first visit, he was a bit rude and came off very arrogant. His bedside manner was dismissive and unfriendly, making me feel unheard and misunderstood. He didn't run any diagnostic tests or imaging or make any attempt to determine the cause of my pain. He diagnosed me with occipital neuralgia, didn't explain the condition, and then failed to treat it, leading me to question his judgment and expertise. His recommended treatment was to administer a course of steroid injections in my neck, which he very confidently told me would "cure" my pain. When this was ineffective, he seemed confused and defeated, told me my pain was solely caused by stress, and resorted to prescribing me various (ineffective) medications to mask my pain rather than try to figure out and treat the root of my pain, which still remains unknown. It felt like he gave up easily after his "curative" treatment failed. Disappointing experience.

Out of touch
My wife was in a serious car accident over 2 years ago and her symptoms has gradually worsened. She suffers from, memory, cognitive issues, speech loss of words, vision issues, (can’t drive s car anymore) This doctor was hired by car insurance company to perform an examination. His testing was not adequate, didn’t even covere most of her symptoms. His vision test utilized 2 fingers and a magazine. She failed his vision test as I watched. His recommendation was my wife doesn’t need anymore neurological care. What a disgrace to his profession. Also, very unprofessional waiting area with a dog present, although he was well behaved. No wonder his reviews are marginal at best.

No, he is not recommended! Worst experience a patient should ever have to experience. He doesn’t even deserve one star but this site does not allow a zero star review. He is condescending, severely narcissistic, disrespectful, doesn’t listen, and makes it very clear that he thinks he knows everything even when his patient is not showing any improvement and starts to have worsening symptoms. We learned he has a horrible reputation in town as well as in Tampa. Do not go to him because he will make things worse and his “treatment” includes adding more and more pills and increasing doses. The level of disrespect he showed was indescribable. Due to many horrible experiences with him, he left us no choice but to find an amazing doctor who cares and knows how to help patients recover.

If you are referred for a work injury beware. He does not listen and doesn’t seem to have a passion to find the cause. Red flags one of the first comments “Im not a work comp doctor” gives way to feelings that he works for carrier not the patient.

Horrible on so many levels. I have seen many doctors in my life and this one takes the cake. Doesn't listen, assumes he knows the problems and solutions without a solid history, and pushes drugs even after being told that I didn't come to him for any prescriptions as that wasn't my objective for the appointment. A total waste of time and money. He seems to have an agenda of sorts. One solution that fits all. Very odd man.

I’m so thankful I found Dr. Kassicieh. I’ve been suffering with migraines since I was 20. I tried sooo many medications in the past too with other neurologists up north. Dr. Kassicieh is the only one who suggested Prozac as a preventative for me with my migraines and it’s WORKING!!! I’ve not a depressed person but it was Dr. Kassicieh’s knowledge of different treatments for migraines and headaches that changed my entire life! I’ve never felt so good and can not recommend him enough!!!!

I have been using Dr. KASSICIEH for many years and have found him and his staff to be extremely helpful and competent - especially his nurse Helen. I suffer from migraine headaches and a new medication just came on the market - Aimovig. The procedure for getting the medication was somewhat complicated. Helen helped me navigate the red tape and I will be trying the new drug this month.

Dr K has been the only Doctor to accurately diagnose (Occipital Neuralgia) and treat my headaches! I am 66 yrs old & have had "Migraines" since my early 30's. I have been in E.R.'s/urgent cares/Dr offices for many years, migraine drugs used to work if I caught it in time and took them early enough In the last 6 months I was having 5 headaches a week! They were ruining my life! After about 6 weeks, Dr K helped me get relief, I'm about 85% better!! Mozart, the therapy dog just adds to your day :)

Dr. Kassicieh gave me my life back! For a full year I had been going from one doctor to another for my intense debilitating migraine headaches. Finally, my primary care physician recommended Dr. Kassicieh. The search and my migraine headaches were over. I'm back to doing everything I was able to do before the headaches started.

Complete unprofessionalism displayed by doctor and staff. Lack of concern for patient’s well being is scary. Repeatedly prescribed medication types that caused life-threatening reaction, then told that I was lying about it. Should lose medical license.

As I was told by numerous specialist that my condition can only be contributed to unknown chemical imbalance that runs in my family. Dr. Kassicieh has given me the greatest hope and treatments that has given me some relief that all other’s couldn’t achieve. His positive outlook has been refreshing and he will continue his analysis/treatments to improve my quality of Life. Also, his staff is one of the most kind and professional team that I have met. Dr. Kassicieh takes the needed time to listen and ask questions about your condition. He is very astute in his field, and he is willing to offer a variety of medications and therapies. He will work with you to find the best solution for your condition Dr. Kassicieh has gone the extra mile to help get medications that my insurance won't cover.
