Both my husband and I went to him. I would recommend him to anyone. Actually I tried to go back and couldn find him so I went to another doctor. I on another search for my Dr. Dietrick. I don't want anyone else. This message probably won't go through because some others didn't. He is the best and I've need him. Thank you.

The most insensitive doctor I ever met
I was referred to Dr. Dietrick for prostate biopsies and was grappling with a new diagnosis of possible cancer. Before our interview, I heard him loudly scold a nurse about something unrelated. During our interview, I had several questions about sending slides for a second opinion and Dr. Dietrick seemed put out. I asked if I could ask another question requiring only a short answer, and he answered, "I'm not surprised." I made that my last question, because I did not want to upset him prior to the biopsies. I do not question his technical ability, but he was deficient in The Art of Medicine.

condescending & pompous
Dr. Dietrick is the most unpleasant person I've dealt with in a very, very long time. It is unreal how grandiose his opinion of himself is. I went in to see him because I am experiencing pain and I was seeking medical help, that's it. What I received was condescension from a doctor who proceeded to rattle off his resume including his years of practice and Ivy league education..... I did not ask for any of that resume crap - all I did was seek help from him by trying to describe the symptoms I was experiencing. I truly get along with everyone and I don't have difficulty with people ever. This guy though was next level difficult!!! BTW good doctor if we compare our credentials, you might find I have my share of accomplishments as well. He may or may not be a good doctor I don't know because I cannot get past his lack of respect for me as a patient and therefore, I do not trust his medical advice. I waited over a month to get an appointment and left fuming mad. Going for a second opinion!

Dr. Dan Dietrick is an outstanding Doctor, and as important, he is truly a caring and kind person. He cared for/counseled me when I had a scare with possible Prostate Cancer at age 55. After 2 biopsies and multiple discussions, luckily it was not Cancer. Dr. Dietrick went above and beyond in his caring. Later, I was in Italy for 2 months and had severe Kidney Stone attacks and contacted him from Italy. He said he would see me immediately at my return and schedule a CT scan. This Man Cares
