Disappointed Doctor Here
Telehealth
Never meet him but feel his work makes sense. I think his intentions are probably good but his clinics are factories. Very very disappointed - as a doctor myself it was a waste of money nothing about the process or information was impressive or helpful - nothing you can;t get from from from youtube and Dr Amen on there - much better than the doc I was assigned

Had SPECT imaging done and was given supplement advice and vague information about my brain. No real healing modality given or that I sensed anyone cared about. It just seems like a huge marketing machine. Dr Amen if you care about the human condition you should care about how your clinics are being run not just about the $ and your marketing programs. Very sad very sad indeed.

Yes. I went to their Manhattan office. I was treated with the utmost respect and professionalism. I did 2 SPECT (brain) scans and a psychological test. I am waiting to hear my results. Most encouraging is the out-of-the-box thinking to get me to where my brain will function optimally and hence the rest of my life. Yes, I will recommend Amen Clinics. I have an appointment for a very detailed medical and life history coming up, to culminate in the final detailed analysis of what is going on for me and, based upon their years of experience, how I can correct the problems/symptoms I have been experiencing once and for all! Wish me luck!

My family and I have visited many very good therapists and excellent psychiatrists over the years to deal with husband's PTSD, my ADHD and resulting depression, and one son's ADHD and resulting oppositional behavior. The Amen clinic and the Spect scans along with all the other supporting therapy and testing that goes into the final report has been the most cost effective and truly helpful package that we have received. The information we received has helped our family to help ourselves.
