I work in the mental health field as a psychological counselor, but I have always struggled with ADHD. These days it is extremely difficult for me, or any of my adult children, who also have ADHD, or any of my patients with ADHD, to get in to see a psychiatrist for this condition. The mental health field is treating it as if every person seeking help for this must, unquestionably be a drug addict seeking medications to sell. Many psychiatrists do not trust their own diagnostic skills for this with adults. Dr Steinfink is so good at his work that nonsense doesn't trouble him. He asks very insightful questions, and uses standard self report, family report, tests combined with a very new, and I think effective, online psychology testing that appears to be far more effective at actual focus and attention measurement than anything I had previously encountered. As a result one can get what they need attended to and even do it virtually.

Dr Steinfink has been my doctor for about 5 yrs. He listens and gives good advice. I really like Dr Steinfinck.

It’s hard to find a new doctor. I had the same doctor for 40 years. Dr Steinfienk is one of the first doctors I’ve seen who immediately felt listened carefully, was highly competent and seemed to understand my needs and quickly developed the next steps for an overall wellness plan for me. After 4 months of flailing, within an hour I was on my way to having the medications I needed, a follow up Appointment, a tangible plan that will allow me to have entire treatment team ( general practitioner, neurologist, and group therapy). I was called to begin my intake assessment for therapy the same day. My initial appointment with Dr Steinfienk exceeded my expectations. He was kind, efficient, and I left with a full treatment plan in place to help me begin moving forward toward a better quality of health and well being. I couldn’t be more encouraged.
