Thorough and excellent care
So impressed by the individual care and follow up I received from Dr Thaik. She has caught issues with my labs and even has helped me appeal to my insurance company. She works late, even when she’s out of town on a weekend, to follow through with me. She displays excellence in everything she touches.

I finally feel heard!
I've spent 3 years navigating health concerns, seeing countless doctors, including multiple cardiologists. Despite my symptoms, each gave me the same tests (EKG, Echo, monitor) and said everything was 'normal,' dismissing me with comments like, 'You're just anxious' or 'Women sometimes walk around with low blood pressure.' No one looked further.Frustrated, I found Dr. Thaik. I got an appointment within a week, and she spent time understanding my history, running immediate tests, and providing resources, referrals, and next steps. From day one, she did more for me than any previous doctor—she BELIEVED me, investigated the cause, and offered real solutions. Now, with test results and a plan in action, I have hope! I finally feel heard and look forward to my healing journey. If you're facing similar struggles, Dr. Thaik is the kind of doctor you want on your team!

Caring & Knowledgeable!
Telehealth
Dr. Thaik went out of her way to schedule me after a referral from my functional medicine doctor. She was focused, thoughtful and collaborative with my other care provider. Clearly extremely knowledgeable, she spent the time needed to explain everything to me. HIGHLY recommend!!

Didn't listen at all
I'm an athlete suddenly having cardiac issues and thought that I'd do better with a second opinion from a female with unique insights. Nope! Dr Thaik dismissed everything I had to say to give her info on what was happening, and proceeded to tell me to stop using my sports watch because I'm imagining it by looking at my heart rate data, any athlete will give the biggest eye roll here. Then she gave me a copy of her book and signed it and sent me home with a 'prescription' for 200 per month for supplements. 'Detox' supplements and overpriced fish oil and vitamins. I'm surprised she doesn't sell her own vitamins and juice cleanse! It's really disheartening when you're having major health issues and not taken seriously or given any compassion.

A Well Rounded Approach to Heart Health
I really like Dr. Thaik’s holistic approach. My blood pressure and cholesterol numbers were all snowballing in the wrong direction and diabetes was on the horizon. I started to get discomfort with my heart, and I’m only 52. She increased my medication and explained that doctors tend to under treat. I 100% agree, as my numbers were still bad even on meds. This just shortens my life span so I was glad to see the proactive approach. She also tested me for any heart issues or damage due to this to ensure I’m ok. The kicker here is, she very strongly encouraged me to work on my diet and lifestyle change. She gave me several ways I could approach it and I listened to her and did it. All I can say is, she saved my life. My numbers are all the way down and I’m almost to the point I don’t need any medication at all. My weight is down significantly and I have implemented her suggested changes. It’s taken work on my part but what’s great is that instead of a doctor finger wagging and telling y

Thorough, Thoughtful Cardiologist
I had been experiencing hypertension that was seemingly non-responsive to the meds my general practitioner had prescribed. I felt it was important to go to a cardiologist so that I could prevent the issue from progressing to a more serious issue. I wanted someone who was bright, caring and could 'think out of the box' - not just the usual protocols, but an informed approach to what was going on with ME. I did some research and found Dr. Thaik.I didn't have to wait too long to get an appointment. At the appointment, Dr. Thaik was thoughtful, caring and took a good look at what was going on with me and my concerns. She was thorough and worked toward addressing the hypertension quickly in a meaningful way . . . not just letting me continue and 'see how it goes' with minor adjustments.I have just started to work with Dr. Thaik on correcting my hypertension, but I feel well cared for, and that I have made the right choice. I look forward to working on my health journey with her.

Do not recommend
I do not recommend going to her. She does not give wholistic advice as her website claims and pushes pills. She was dismissive and rude at our appointment after being 45 minutes late and making us wait. She literally cut me off and ignored me several times as I asked questions. The visit was a complete waste of our time and money - I recommend finding someone else to help you that will actually want to help and listen to your concerns.

We were interrupted 4 times 2 from staff and 2 from her kids calling, ok, it happens...BUT then, she tells ME to hurry up, excuse me? Looking thru my info, her very first question to me was what did you put in your keyword search to find me? She didn't like or know about the med I was on, knocking it because it was old?? It was from my at the time cardiologist from Cedars Sinai who could've been her teacher!! She tells me to have an invasive procedure before it turns into something worse. I went back and asked my doc and he said no, it wouldn't necessarily turn into that. I wanted to wait and see...years later, I am off even the med she didn't like and so far, fine Do you think I went back to her again? Been wanting to write this for a while to share my opinion.

Do NOT go here! This woman should NOT have her MEDICAL LICENSE. She has consistently peddled her own holistic remedies for personal and financial gain. Nothing she pushes is evidence based medicine or backed by any insurance providers. One example: she has repeatedly pushed $500 worth of FISH OIL PILLS a month to treat treatment-resistant depression. She slips these items in your cart making it near impossible not to purchase. UNETHICAL ON MANY LEVELS. When we were new to the practice, she had no issue prescribing medications for psychiatric illness including XANEX to keep us as patients. However, now she is unwilling to prescribe evidence based medicine for mental health, citing that needs to be managed by a mental health care provider. But at the same point, she is more than willing to recommend supplements like the FISH OIL.

It was awful, Dr Cynthia Thaik had me waiting for 45 minutes, which normally would be fine if she was giving the time she’s needed to be thorough with other patients. From the moment when opened her mouth I knew I was going to become another cattle. She began running through a questionnaire “yes”, “no” and straight to an ECG. She didn’t listen to my concern as the primary doctor at her facility and pawned me off to her Nurse Practicioner.

I was referred to Dr. Thaik by my cardiologist. I found Dr. Thaik to be sincere and very thorough. I believed her diagnosis and felt she could help me in getting to a better place with my health. My only knock against the practice is they seem to run behind schedule a bit thus wait times are a little longer. Otherwise I fully recommend Dr. Thaik and her colleagues.

Dr. Cynthia and her team are amazing. I came in for an emergency consultation after going to the ER twice for sharp pains in my heart and shortness of breath. My in network medical's earliest appointment with a cardiologist was over a month. Because of my young age, the network doctor assumed it was anxiety and prescribed me anxiety meds. (WOW) I was so upset that I had to look for help out of network. I went online and stumbled upon Holistic Healing Heart Center. I saw all of the positive reviews and I emailed Dr. Thaik and told her my dilemma. She was able to accommodate me on one of her off days. I drove over an hour away just to see her. Her office is always busy with people.Being able to discuss my issues and concerns to a specialist with years of experience was a big relief. You can tell she is caring and compassionate about helping her patients. She has the knowledge/experience/tools to heal you. Her rates are fair. If you care about your health, go to Holistic Heart.

I have been a patient of Dr. Thaik for several years. She gives me a thorough examination and evaluation of my cardiac and holistic health at my bi-annual appointments. She takes time to listen to my questions and her suggestions have helped to improve my health. Even though my blood work results were recently very good, she realized that I was dehydrated, even though I drink 8-10 cups of water a day, due to a build up of toxins in my body. She took time to explain what was happening in my body and made suggestions for how it can be corrected. Her staff is very friendly and helpful. She is a wonderful, competent doctor and a best-selling author!

Dr. Thaik has been my cardiologist for more than 10 years. During that time she has helped me to bring blood pressure under control, encouraged me to lose weight, made me aware of my sleep apnea and helped me to get my insurance to get a mouthpiece to ameliorate that condition. Her comprehensive approach to not only heart health but whole body health, in my experience, is unique. Her staff has always dealt with me in a very professional and courteous way. So much so, that made me reminiscent of my youth when we had a family doctor. I have never been disappointed with the care that I have received during my association with Dr. Thaik. In fact other than my late wife, Dr. Thaik is the only other woman to whom I would trust my heart.
