I’m a local doula who had a client deliver with Dr Mercer. If I could give her more than 5 stars I would. I’ve seen over 50 births and Dr Mercer was an INCREDIBLE ob!! She is the shining example of informed consent. She was so honoring of my clients birth plan and her bedside manner was incredible. She handled the emergencies that arose in the birth room amazingly. Incredible OB!

Dangerous doctor
Dr Mercer has terrible bed side manner. I have PTSD from the care she provided me.

Had a new pt appt for over a month referred by an IM doc. The day before rcvd a text confirming appt. Responded “yes”. Arrived at office 10 minutes late (new to area and didn’t allow for traffic) waited 10 minutes to be called to window. Was chastised for being late & that I couldn’t be seen b/c I had not completed the online health paperwork. No one said this was needed. Was told I could complete the paperwork and they would reschedule appt. Condescending, not friendly and unprofessional.

Had an appointment for a month. Then never heard from the office again until I called to confirm my appointment that day long behold they didn't have me in their list it's very disappointing when you waited that long. Just incompetent

Dr. Mercer is quite thorough in her exam and very knowledgeable. Her office is very clean and her staff so professional in addition to being pleasant and friendly. I would definitely recommend this gynecologist.

Dr. Mercer's bedside manner is satisfactory, but rushed and disinterested. Her office insists on a lengthy, online survey prior to the initial visit, and I was uncomfortable with how her staff handled my information. Twice, she was called away to deliveries, but there is no backup plan, and the staff didn't announce to those of us waiting that our appointments were cancelled, so we sat there over 30 minutes. She doesn't follow up well, and her staff are impolite. The phone system is also poor.
