Dr. Curtis Miller, MD

I need a knee replacement and have been seeing Dr Miller for almost a year. I went to schedule the surgery today and was told he is retiring and will not do surgeries after September. I got a gel shot and you can't have surgery for 90 days. I didn't know either of these things. Now I'm back to square One.. He should be telling people, he isn't so I am.

First visit and I had absolutely no issues. No long wait time, no long wait after being taken to exam room and Dr Miller explain my knee pain and answered all of my question. So far, so good. With a cortisone shot and exercising, my knee has no issues as a month later.

Dr. Miller, was explaining the problem very well to me, he was very patient and professional.

Had an initial visit with x-ray and revealed arthritis. Decided to get mri and took a few phone calls, unanswered, before it was ordered. After the mri awaited results and no one called. After 3 calls had to make another appointment (paid $50) for the results and he had the audacity to ask if I had the results when I was specifically there for that! He then repeated the exact verbiage he told me in the first visit and then abruptly got up and left the room. He did not offer any solutions for my current issue. I asked about medications and he didn’t have any opinion on any of them. Did not offer any type of therapy other than when it was bad enough “come in for a shot”. Yes, he offered a shot for the arthritis but only when it was bad enough. In the meantime, what do I do? Thanks but no thanks. Poor communication and lack of continuum of care from a specialist. Terrible!!

He said there is nothing he could do for my pain in me knee

Dr. Curtis was very pleasant and forthcoming with information on what could be done for my knee pain. He had looked at my x-rays and we talked about treatment possibilities. I was very pleased by the fact that I know what to I need to do and I didn't feel pressured. I have since given a recommendation and that person has made an appt. with Dr. Curtis.

Dr miller provided two successful hip replacements. That is why when I fell and fractured my knee cap I called his office immediately and drove 1100 miles to ensure that he could repair my injury.

Dr. Miller was very professional. Answered all my questions. Bottom line, he made my knee pain go away. If pain comes back, I will definitely ask for Dr. Miller again. Everyone in that office were great. Thank you, Dr. Miller.!

Dr. Miller provided me with a magnificent new knee! The new knee is a great improvement- no pain walking on my new knee. I am hugely pleased with my new walking experience. Much better experience walking and chasing grandchildren! Thank you Dr. Miller!

Dr Miller did a great job on my hip replacement. Scar line is super thin and getting lighter. He is caring and was willing to answer all my questions. I will refer others to him and Ortho Arizona. A positive experience at each office.

The office is a model of efficiency. I had a 3:00 appointment, and I was called back at exactly 3:00. I was genuinely surprised, because in my experience, appointments are never on time in doctor's offices. Staff was kind and professional. After being shown to an exam room, Dr. Miller came in to see me after waiting approximately 3 minutes. Again, almost unheard of. Dr Miller did an exam on my knee, and discussed the x-rays I had done prior to my appointment, and set up an MRI to check for damage to my knee. Dr Miller was friendly, caring, and knowledgeable, and explained things in an easy to understand manner. I think this doctor is truly a rare find. I'm very satisfied with my initial visit, and look forward to our partnership in my healthcare going forward. I would recommend him to anyone I know for their ortho needs

I came for a second opinion and Dr Miller did give me a couple of options. He put it in words I could easily understand. I would recommend him to family and friends.
