He has been taking care of me and my children with various foot issues since 2011. Always excellent care!

Questionable office practice. Referred by my primary doctor, then called by Dr Schein's office to set up appointment . I filled out pre visit paperwork with insurance info. a couple weeks before appointment,....went to appointment , again gave them my insurance info. Had the procedure done and when I got my insurance statement, they had declined my visit due to Schein not being in my network. I feel they had the opportunity, twice, to let me know this. Once when they received my pre visit paperwork , and again when they requested my insurance info the day of the visit. Being I have insurance , I would not have gone to this appointment knowing they were not in my network. They choose to go ahead with the appointment and just bill me. All it would have took was a 15 second phone call prior to my appointment to say they aren't in my network. It's just the decent thing to do especially when they had all my info weeks before the appt and then the day of. Sketchy at least.

Dr. Schein is an excellent podiatrist. Extremely knowledgeable, competent and caring. He is a good listener and has a great bedside manner. He's everything I want for my mother. If I needed foot care, I would choose Dr. Schein. You can pay someone to "take care", but you can't pay someone to "care" and he does both perfectly! A wonderful human being. We are fortunate to have him close by, but his friendly and professional services would be worth the travel if necessary. Thank you so much!

He didn't listen to me, didn't answer my questions, and made fun of me when I got emotional due to my extensive medical history and the fact that he was just plowing over top of me. He told me to call if the pain got worse. I did, and then have not received a call back in over a week, despite 2 messages. Poor bedside manner, lousy follow up, didn't listen at all.
