Dr. Cleve James, MD

If you care about your loved one or the care of yourself, please don't have this Dr. care for you. The dude does not care about his patients and doesn't even know what their state is before entering the room, nor does he communicate with the patient's loved ones to give them any information whatso ever. This has to be the worse doctor on this entire plant. I have no idea how the guy received a 4.5 STAR on this info on himself. He had to of had his office workers and family make fake reviews for him. PLEASE read my review before going under his care. If I could describe him (just over the phone) this is how it would go. Extreme arrogance and full of himself. The Dr. didn't ever turn the music he had playing down in the background while I was talking to him about my dying mother at bayshore medical.

My mom was just in the hospital for 4 days apparently he was the doctor he ran in for 2 seconds didn't even want to listen hurry up and leave didn't explain anything she went home the very next day she fell and had to go back and guess who walked in this same old doctor he is no good he doesn't take time to listen ask questions explain anything he literally wants to walk in for one second and leave he's horrible...I've never seen a dr like this I will be demanding another dr she now has a cracked pelvis...when her initial problem was a uti....if you seee him which is highly unlikely cuz he hides some where definitely not w patients ask for a competent caring dr who cares to get patient well ..

My step dad has Dr. James as a physician at Bayshore. Dr. James doesn’t check the charts before entering the room or speak with the nurse on how his patient is. He asks us “how is he doing” He swore my step dad was sick because of alcoholism which wasn’t the case but he argued with my mom and said “well that played a part in it”, he talks over us when we ask a question, He doesn’t let us know his treatment plan, he walks always backwards talking to you. He gave my mom the run around about getting fmla papers signed for three days and it was always something different (still hasn’t signed them). We tried changing physicians but unfortunately with my step dad’s insurance we’re stuck with him while he’s at Bayshore. Worst doctor you can choose for yourself or a loved one, I wouldn’t choose him as a doctor even if I was on my death bed.

I worked with Dr. James office for 2 weeks trying to establish the Dr. As my PCP. I had to move on to another Dr. Quite frankly I felt as though I got the run around because I am white.

Dr. James listened and asked questions regarding case. He seemed genuinely concerned. I would highly recommend him to everyone.

great first visit

Been twice. Was there over 2 hours. Staff can't or want do referrals correctly which is ashame. Staff also commented about Dr. James. Feel that staff not taking responsibility for incompetence.

I took my husband to see Dr James after he seen him in the rehabilitation facility and I’ve been two times to his office and have been very happy with Dr James bedside manners, his willingness to take his time to learn about his patients and how well explained things to us, I am making him my husbands primary care Dr and would recommend him to others.

office workers have been very pleasant and helpful. Dr. Cleve was direct and to the point about my care going forward as this is my initial visit with him since i was discharged from the hospital.

Dr.James is a very calm doctor. He will answer any questions you may have. He is very friendly.

I would recommend Dr. James, he was easy to talk too and appeared to be very knowledgeable.

This was my first time visiting Dr. James office. Upon visiting the staff was very friendly. I was greeted with a smile. They were very caring and made me feel at ease and welcomed. Upon meeting with Dr. James I was greeted with a smile and a firm hand shake which made me feel welcomed. The Dr. was very concerned about my health and he made me feel as though he really cared about my health as well. He was very thorough and caring. He made sure all my questions were answered. awesome Doctor

Dr. James is a friendly intelligent doctor who is both kind and attentive. He is a family man who gives thoughtful consideration to each referral and recommendation. Waiting time is reasonable and he represents all things good in the practice of medicine.

They like the way he speaks to the patient. He is very straight up.
