I had a HORRIBLE fracture in my left clavicle, Dr. Toney was responsible for surgery, and I had to leave this review. At 35 years old, I have worked in private and boutique health practices for 15 years. NEVER, EVER! will you have a team of surgical minds working together to solve your problem... until Dr. Toney at VCU. I am beyond grateful. Thank you. <3

Dr. Toney was my surgeon when I was transported to VCU after a motorcycle accident. I was not sure if I’d be able to walk again, but Dr. Toney and his team were amazing! As important as the physical healing he provided, he helped restore my spiritual health - this was a tough thing to get through, and there were times I wanted to give up. He ALWAYS took the time to explain everything, went over my images with me, and listened to (and addressed) my concerns. It took 8 months, but I’m walking again and I owe it to Dr. Toney and his team. I could not possibly recommend a doctor more wholeheartedly.

We met Dr. Toney after my husband fell 20 from a tree stand. His pelvis was fractured multiple places. He was flown to VCU for treatment. Dr. Toney was his surgeon. Dr. Toney is a kind doctor who spoke with me both before and after the surgery. He answered any and all questions. He was very reassuring with me as I was in a different city miles away from my family. He and his staff were there for us the entire way through the recovery. We continued to commute back to Richmond through out my husbands recovery. What an amazing and special doctor he is. We highly recommend Dr. Toney. He helped us through a very stressful time in our lives.

Dr. Toney operated on my compound fractures of my foot/ankle and leg. He inspired a great deal of confidence throughout the inpatient and outpatient experience. Dr. Toney and his staff were extremely professional and dedicated. My wife and I would recommend him without any reservations.
