Dr. Claire McGill, DO

Dr.McGill is a good internist. Her nurse, Natalie Jefferson has responded to all of my needs. Natalie has been very helpful in easing some of the complexities of the healthcare system.Dr.McGill and Natalie Jefferson made a great team.

I’m typically not the type to leave a negative review. If it’s not nice, I have nothing to say.. that being said this doctor and office are AWFUL. Honestly worst physician I’ve ever seen. Will not even see you in person if you display symptoms but calls herself a doctor. She is past the point of dismissive, it takes multiple appointments to get the slightest thing done for one issue, the office forgets to send referrals on a regular basis (to the point I’ve had to have them printed and drop them off myself, and the assistants/receptionists are beyond rude. If you have actual health issues and are not just need an annual physical I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Been a patient of Dr. McGill for over 6 years. Dr. McGill takes the time to learn everything about your health and takes the time to explain things. In addition, her health recommendations and advice is always spot on. She definitely cares about her patients and that is rare today in medicine.

I have been seeing Dr Claire McGill for many years now! I have also, recommended her to all my family members and friends! I am confused with some of the other reviews? My appointments are never rushed and she takes time to listen to my concerns. Believe me, I have been told by my family members that I sometimes ramble. Her staff has always been very professional and caring! After, I turned 60 a lot of my check engine lights began to show themselves! Dr McGill was able to help direct me through a lot of the changes and steps, needed to become healthier! Dr Claire McGill was also, able to recommend me to a hematologist for a diagnose that went unchecked for many years by other doctors. I am very great full for her tenacity and professionalism.

List is too long so suffice to say there is tremendous miscommunication & straight up communication failure on the part of this office and her nurse. Final straw was when Dec. lab work revealed I needed a med dose change & her office NEVER informed me. In late January I found out accidentally on my own in a very round about way after I asked why they kept denying pharmacy who was texting me non-stop about McGill not refilling my Rx and then when it was finally refilled it was for 2 Rx’s of the exact same medicine but each in a different dose with NO information why or how to take. Office never informed me of Zoom call time with her about this & all the other instances. She kept rudely interrupting me and I kept having to say “I’m not done yet relaying all the ways your office has dropped the ball” even though she admitted failure to inform me of med change & other errors. Never once apologized. Told me 3x the practice manager would call to discuss. Never received a call.

Dr McGill is family physician for myself and my wife. She listens, is proactive with decisions and suggestions and takes time to listen to your concerns and issues

Our Oncologist recommended Dr. McGill; We found her to be up to date, she listens quietly and responds completely.

She is rude, does not listen. Seems to be in another dimension when you are in the room. She is uncomfortable listening to your issues.. Office does not return calls. She does not return calls or emails. Incorrect billing. If fact I have fired her. Literally has to be one of the worst physicians I have come across. The WORST. I would give a -10 if I could.

Dropped as a patient during active, life threatening COVID symptoms. Received a letter that I was disruptive to their office because I had to leave multiple messages to hear back. Went 48hrs no returned call to get anti nausea meds to keep out of the hospital. No returned calls, no receptionist available, and when I finally heard back the nurse was rude and asking about unrelated medical issues of another patient. No awareness of the issues. The level of unprofessionalism for patient care during a global pandemic was astounding. Physician turnover in this office is overwhelming and not good for patient care. Dr. McGill was aware of their staffing issues during my telehealth appt but did nothing to address. This office may be ok, assuming you never need any real medical attention. During a health crisis when healthcare workers put the lives on the line, this entire office should be embarrassed and not able to hold a medical license.

Rude, dismissive and truly not interested in listening to the patient..

Only met her once and that was enough. Very rude and did not instill confidence in me. I'm always happy to leave good reviews but not this time. This medical group has a revolving door of doctors. Unfortunately, my last doctor was wonderful but she left the medical group. She said the management would not allow her practice medicine that had her patients best interest. Maybe there it's bad morale.

Have seen Dr McGill a few times and has seemed competent. She asked me to keep track of my BP and to let her know if it remained high since it was elevated at my last appointment It continued to go up, so I called her office to see if she wanted to increase my BP med dosage. After two follow ups on the patient portal (a waste of time) and a few calls to her office, where I learned that the BP history I had faxed had been given to her, I’ve had no response. It’s been two weeks since I started the process. A few days ago, since I was concerned about my BP, I contacted a different doctor and have already been seen and my meds adjusted. Don’t know if the problem is the doctor, her assistant or the office staff, but there was no follow through after my repeated requests for help. Very disappointed in this practice.

Dr. McGill is a blessing to the medical field. She is open minded and helpfull. She considers her perspectives among your own and develops a care plan based on your needs. I would recommend her to my closest friends and family.

This doctor was rude. She acted liked she didn’t want to do anything for me but send me everywhere else. Within two minutes talking to her she became offensive. Worse doctor attitude ever. She must really hate her job.

POOR POOR. - complete waste of time!

Terrible waiste of time and energy. This “Dr” was rude, dismissive and ineffective. I would NOT recommend or will not be returning to the practice.

Dr. McGill is very kind and patient. She takes the time to discuss any concerns and doesn't make you feel rushed. I took my young teenage daughter to her and we were both immediately comfortable. I feel like we are in good hands with Dr. McGill and I'm very glad we chose to start seeing her. The nurse and office staff were also very kind and seemed extremely competent.

Horrible Dr! This has to be the worst Dr I have ever been to. Very short and more worried about putting me on all kinds of meds instead of focusing on the reason I was there. Issue I actually went in for did not get addressed and ended up getting worse and I had to go to an urgent care. Would not recommend!
