Not a pleasant visit. My Dr referred me but the good Dr obviously had not read my records to know I didn’t walk in off the street. I explained why I was there several times and still he questioned who sent me and why. He spoke ina degrading manner. Of course he diagnosed that nothing was wrong even though every day and night I have ear issues.

I was a new patient to Dr. Newman, on August 10th, pass Monday. My ENT doctor retired, and I thought it easier to just have my records transferred since they practiced a door away from each other. I was wrong. I arrived 12 minutes early to fill out paperwork. The waiting time was reasonable, the receptionist was borderline rude but, tolerable. Dr. Newman had not reviewed my records, and quickly asked numerous questions about the reason for my visit. No problem, working in the medical field for more than thirty years, I understood his drill, but totally unprepared for his next question. He asked if I had surgery on my nose before, I answered no. Again he asked, I answer no. Then, the third time caused me a feeling I didn’t like nor appreciated. Insult to injury, I referred to the recent surgery on my neck, and felt uncomfortable explaining. Second thoughts on the doctor and the visit!! Save yourself the trouble. Read the reviews!! SB

Unprofessional, did not use gloves to remove bloody impacted ear wax, rude and belittles patients. This "DR" said balance has nothing to do with your ears. I'd advise not going to him if you want to find out what's wrong with you and actually get help. He is gouging patients for money. Forced a hearing test, pushed me out of the office, and ended up in the emergency room.

I came to Chris Newman with a small perforation in my nose causing a whistling noise. He said he would cover it with a piece of skin from behind my ear. Later the piece of skin died and the hole in my nose was now enlarged . I saw well respected doctor at Wake Forest who said that now the hole was too large to repair. What Dr.Newman did was not at all the way to repair my nose. I caution anyone considering going to him.

I had to see Dr. Newman on a rush basis to repair a bleeder in a very hard to reach place in my nasal cavity. He immediately worked me into his schedule and was welcoming ,personable, warm and very helpful and informative. The following day, after having done all he could do in his office, he cleared his schedule to he could perform the required procedure at a nearby surgical facility. Again he was right on top of things, kept me and my wife well informed and was extremely caring. I would give h
