Yearly checkup!
Knocking giving name before entering exam room. He acknowledged my name and explained reason for labs taken prior to visit. Hence compared current labs with a summary of last year and previous ones. He asked if I had any questions. He summarized again and noted treatment plan ongoing. See nest year or if PCP during the year need to be seen. Stated he would send results of lab to PCP; gave me a copy of visit. He reminded me to go by the scheduling desk to make appointment for next year.

Outstanding Doctor and Person
Dr. Maisel has been my blood cancer doc for 15 years. That alone should say something! From my first meeting with him when diagnosed, through all my treatments, scans, and follow ups he has been nothing but informative, kind, and thorough. I am very thankful for all he has done for me, and my family, through my cancer journey.

Compassionate competent care!
The office was running about 20 minutes late, but I was shown to an exam room ASAP. Dr. Maisel was not rushed, he took his time to examine me and discussed some options that he believes may help with my illness. We weren't able to discuss my bloodwork during the appointment because the lab was also running behind. He reached out to me later with results.
