I highly recommend Dr. Christopher Diefenbach and the team at Northern Arizona orthopedics. Dr. Diefenback went above and beyond to communicate with me prior to the surgery and after the 2 hours surgery. He is awesome! I want to thank Dr. David Kumasaka (anesthesiologist) who made sure I was very comfortable during the surgery. I’m also very grateful to nurses Suzanne Ignace and Carrie McAvoy for their professionalism and wonderful care. I cannot praise them all enough. I am very appreciative for their dedication and making this surgery a positive experience. Thank you!

Dr. D did the fusion surgery on my left ankle/foot in Feb 2018. After 1 year of rehab/post surgery treatments it was determined the fusion Failed. A flouroscope injection was suggested and after couple weeks waiting I contacted Dr. D's staff only to be informed that Dr. D had left.....no notification/no letter ---no communication what so ever. Left me hanging....had to find another Orthosurgeon and start all over. Pitiful way to treat a patient!

Excellent surgeon. He repaired both of my feet after falling 35 feet in the Grand Canyon. My left heel was a complicated fracture difficult to repair and his fixation was perfect. Right foot Liz frank fracture was also repaired perfectly. His clinical judgement and skills are excellent. He is compassionate, communicates well and holds true to his word. Thank you Dr.Deifenbach.

Very upsetting care. Dr diefenbach misdiagnosed my son's foot injury and said nothing could be done. Never ordered further testing like MRI. We sought a 2nd opinion and found much more damage than he told us and our 2nd opinion doctor is going to operate to repair his foot. If we would have done nothing like Dr Diefenbach suggested my son would have had problems for the rest of his life!

Dr. Diefenbach is amazing - kind and highly skilled! He performed a foot and ankle revision (corrected a previous fusion performed badly 3 years ago) that gave my husband's life back. The first fusion resulted in more pain than ever and added neuropathic pain. Before the surgery, Dr. Diefenbach explained his planned procedure clearly and stated that he believed he could improve the fusion and reduce the pain. For the first time in 3 years, my husband is walking unassisted- no cane - with significantly less pain. He is able to enjoy life again. He's still recovering. We're optimistic that his mobility will continue improve and that his pain will continue to lessen.

Excellent. He's really great, just sorry we didn't know about Dr Diefenbach and this group sooner. It would have saved me from orthodics and useless laser treatments. And he was nice to me as well. With just a small insert in my shoe, Voltarin, and an ankle brace I am back on the treadmill. My swelling is gone. This is an excellent group. Well run.

Chris was assigned to be my Ortho Physician. He looked at my injury and we discussed options and procedures. I felt like I knew so much more about what was occurring with the tissue and components of the injury after our discussion. Even though Chris was the smartest person in the room he didn't lord his knowledge over me or speak down to me. Thank you Dr. Diefenbach. -Aaron
