For knee pain
Was easy to make appointment and I was seen shortly after me allotted time. I was x-rayed and he came in and discussed options. Got injections in both knees today and discussed replacement surgery for later this year. Very cordial and professional visit.

5-Star Plus
Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr. Christopher Danney, is 5-star plus. I’ve now had two knee replacements that he has done, plus multiple injections through the years prior to surgeries. He is knowledgeable, an excellent surgeon, and is so pleasant to consult with. He becomes a “friend” instead of a doctor performing his job. I highly recommend him.

Explains things well, takes time to listen
I injured my knee…torn meniscus and ligament, diagnosed through an MRI. He was not quick to push surgery and through exercises and physical therapy it is much improved. He listens well and I never felt rushed. Appointments do tend to run late since sometimes a surgery will hold him up. His demeanor with me has always been kind and gentle.

Happy knee now! – Aug 30, 2024

Late and cocky
He was 30 mins late to my appointment with no excuse, and a pitiful 'sorry'. I work in healthcare, so I know the routine. I had to ask the front desk to be roomed and get xrays so when he finally did show up everything would be ready to go. Didnt have good bedside manner and seemed cocky in his comments. When I went to my normal Dr with TXO, the RN and Dr both were said, yea that sounds about right and he can be nice to some, but will be the opposite with others. I wouldnt go back to him. I do referrals for my company and will be selecting pt's to see someone other than him.

Dr Danney was very cordial and professional. He addressed all my questions and made sure I fully understood what was going on with my knee. He also explained the treatment process as he was administering it. I was given exercises that would help and a follow-up appointment in 6 weeks.

Excellent experience
After suffering an ankle injury I was very frustrated with the lack of care at a nearby hospital and was referred to Texas Orthopedics. I had my expectations low but was beyond pleased with my appointment with Dr. Danney. He was kind , caring and professional. He eased my concerns about my injury and assured how to treat it properly. He also helped to manage my pain and boot my foot properly. I highly recommend him and his office. They provide care that you hope to never need but when you do— you’re desperate to be in good hands.

AWESOME DOCTOR!!!
In 2020 I broke both my Ankle and my Fibula by a bad fall. Dr Danney made me feel I was in the best of hands and I shouldn't worry about the surgery or anything. I was so scared about sedation and being put under I actually made things worse by insisting I was not going to have the surgery. I of course had to have the surgery but Dr. Danney, was superb and patient with me. His Anesthesiologist Doctor was superb as well and even followed up after surgery to see how I was doing! The surgery seemed so worry free I was so surprised I worried in the first place. I am a combat veteran and had a hard time even reconciling that I had to have such a major surgery. All that was handled great. I will not forget Dr. Danney and all he did for me to get me back on my leg again. Dr. Danney is a true professional and highest caliber doctor I have ever had the privilege of being treated by. I hope he reads this review because I truly feel I couldn't thank him enough. Warmest Regards Mike S.

Most caring and incredible skills
This is one of the finest doctors I've ever had. He's caring, knowledgeable and really cares about his patients. And he took care of my trigger thumb and also found three other issues which I was completely unaware of and he's helping me through them as well. He's extremely skilled, a skill which is only surpassed by his respect for me as an individual, my self-worth and dignity. Truly he is remarkable. If you have anything orthopedic, you really need to seriously consider this doctor. He is absolutely, flawlessly exceptional.

Dr. Danney is a phenom...
Dr. Danney is the consummate professional with all his care. I have seen him for a torn meniscus that he repaired and eliminated the debilitating pain I'd had for months beforehand. He successfully treated me for elbow bursitis that had been previously misdiagnosed by another doctor. He is a straight shooter who figures out your problem and guides you through the best path to recovery. I trust him implicitly for all my orthopedic care!
