Dr. Christine Bowers Jr, MD

Dr Bowers has been my psychiatrist and therapist for many years. She had listened to my needs and made adjustments in my care based on my self report as well as her observations. I feel heard and validated by her in my experiences and she has supported my healing process through recommendations of things to try in my daily life and validating my experiences in a manner that promoted my healing journey. There is mutuality in the relationship that I have not had in other professional relationships

TERRIBLE. the office is also terrible. She is rude and dismissive. Also, called the emergency line and NO ONE called me back.

She was my son's doctor for a year and she never learned his name. Her callous and dismissive demeanor aggravated his symptoms.

1. The doctor asked me (a female) how many weeks I was (as in PREGNANT)....I'm not, thank you. 2. She consistently asked me the same questions- never wrote anything down, including "has your dad ever molested you?"- EVERYTIME I CAME IN. 3. Then I called and canceled my apt a week before it was to occur, but the unorganized office staff never canceled the apt leaving me with a 125.00 missed apt charge which the doctor herself refused to excuse.
