Dr. Christian Zhang, DO

my toddler has been seen by Mr. Christian Zhang three times. Once at Patient first in East Norriton and twice at Suburban Family medical center in Norristown. Each time the doctor did not listen to what I had to say and asked questions in a condescending manner. It was very obvious to me, as a parent, that my three year-old was suffering from an ear infection. Dr. Zhang said he needed to scrape his ear because he couldn’t see in his ear well. I asked him to get assistance to hold my son down and he refused. Dr Zhang continued to scrape wax out of my child's ear while he kicked and screamed in pain despite the potential damage this could cause. He then erroneously stated that my son had a hole in his ear after looking at it. He looked again and said that he did not have a hole in his ear, rather he had an ear infection. Thankfully another colleague came into the room to assist. She then offered my son pain medication. Dr. Zhang needs to listen to his patients and show empathy

I’ve waited for 3 hours in the waiting room so sick today and 20-30 minutes in the patient room just for Dr. Christian Zhang to walk in with no apology and to tell me that I had to wait 4 days to come back for medication if my symptoms don’t improve on its own even after the results and him witnessing the symptoms. He didn’t even ask if I would like a doctor’s note for work. I am infuriated and now have to take more time out of my work schedule, when I could’ve already had the medical remedy, to see if my primary physician will see me without the waitlist during the holidays because of this unforeseen circumstance of Patient First.
