I had first seen Dr Patel a year ago after being referred to him by my optometrist and he seemed thorough and knowledgeable. I had a yearly appointment yesterday to follow up and was very dissatisfied with my visit. He wasn't in the room with me for 5 minutes. He seemed rushed and in a hurry. When he sat down to look at my eyes I could have counted to 3 and he was already finished. He said he could "see a change" and stood up and said he'd see me in a year and walked out. He never asked me if I was having any issues or questioned me at any time, and never asked if I had any questions or concerns. My eyes were dilated and nothing was offered to help when I left. I have been given reversal drops and disposable sunglasses before. The technicians were very friendly, but I wasn't happy with the exam from Dr Patel. I will not be returning.
