Top notch Dr. and staff
Dr Izad and all staff I have interacted with made me feel like a friend, not just as another patient. Everything I have had done was well explained to me. In 4 years I've never had a bad visit, even at their busiest times, I still felt their respect and assurance of a quality interaction.

Everyone from beginning to end was super nice, professional, caring & knowledgeable. Dr. Izad is very easy to talk to& amazing at what he does. I highly recommend Highland Retina & staff! Also, the office is always so clean, very nice & a very relaxing atmosphere too.

Can't say enough
Beginning with office staff: courteous, helpful and personable. You're not a number or an insurance but seen as a person. Tech staff are well trained, informed as to the processes necessary to complete a thorough exam and call you by name. Many are advancing their skill set. Dr. Izad himself is gentle, listens to you, is helpful with explaining ways to help combat low vision and obviously understands the processes completely including postoperative care. He is kind, calm, respectful and most importantly, highly skilled. A gem among physicians who chooses to work with others who also strive for optimal ocular health and/or salvage of traumatic injuries. Excellent group who truly function as a team.

An Excellent Doctor
I've been seeing Dr. Izad for several years and have had uniformly positive experiences. The staff members are friendly and helpful—and usefully explain what procedures they're doing (simple eye tests, more complicated dye tests, etc.). When Dr. Izad arrives for his exam and evaluation of the test results, he's friendly but businesslike. I appreciate very much that he makes brief comments while conducting the exam and reviewing the test pictures; that helps me understand what he's reviewing, what he's seeing, and what he's thinking. His summary comments are always clear. The visits with Dr. Izad are always brief, but his personable manner makes me feel comfortable and his businesslike approach reassures me that I am receiving excellent care.I have recommended him to family, friends, and colleagues—and will continue to do so.

Very thorough
All the staff was very kind and respectful. Dr was very thorough and informative with exam and treatment. Wait times seems excessive however Dr Izad is an excellent eye specialist.

The office staff are very helpful, kind and efficient, as is Dr. Izad. Procedures and questions are answered well. Eye injections that I receive approximately every 6 weeks are given as painlessly as possible. Free parking is available. There is a patient online portal available. I do recommend Dr. Izad highly.
