Dr. Nolte performed my right TKR in May 2023 and my left TKR in August 2023. I read some negative reviews here prior to scheduling with him, but noted most of those negative reviews were about his personality. What do I care about how well I like him as long as he does a great job on my surgery? Well, I did like him. He was friendly, enthusiastic and informative. And both of my surgeries were very successful with rapid healing. His team is wonderful, I am happy with my results. I shoveled several inches of snow today for an hour with no knee pain!

One of the worst doctors I have ever visited. He was entirely rude, arrogant, disrespectful, and I will not be going to him in the future. I waited for nearly an hour, with only a very brief explanation, and made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I went for a good consult and instead was stuck with horrible service with a horrible attitude. I will never be going there again.

Not recommended: D/t contradictory treatment options; total knee suggested at initial consultation following MRI. With great difficulty, I followed recommendation to stop opiod patch (severe chronic neck pain), prior to surgery. At return visit ( 6 mo) his treatment option changed: TKA to arthroscopic! He was abrupt, no further explanation, immediately offering a 2nd opinion: Rochester, who then refused to see me, he refused explanation, then referred to Eau Claire. VERY disgruntled patient!

It was awful. He is the most self centered and rude Doctor I ever met. And he wrote things in his notes, that I consider to be slander. I would not trust him or allow him ever to do surgery on me or any of my family!
