I had bunion surgery in 1996 by Dr Charles Marder in Plano. After the surgery he told me I had brittle bones and he had trouble with my left foot when putting the screw in to hold the joint and it resulted in some "problems". I had both feet done at one time but the right foot was fine. I went to my doctor shortly thereafter who said I had no bone issues. I found out yesterday that Dr. Marder had completely severed the nerves in my left foot which has left it numb and I fall alot. Now I have to figure out how far the nerve damage goes to plot my course from here. Luckily I am athletic and healthy but this doctor did damage to me and even though its been a long time ago, I would never trust him again.

Dr. Marder was my 6th, and last foot doctor/podiatrist. I had had about 7 or 8 prior foot surgeries. We did some laser treatments and then a few other things. Finally we had to do a minor foot procedure to break up the excess scar tissue I had from prior surgeries. He knows what he is doing. I have a lot less foot pain. I did not have any cushion on the soles of my feet, but now Indo. Thanks so much to Dr. Marder and his staff. Can’t say enough good things.

Wouldn't have him work on my dog. His staff is terrible. Trying to get a prescription renewed is a joke ... it is just not going to happen.

I would highly recommend Dr. Marder. He previously helped my injured 70yr old mother-in-law who i Love as my own mom. She had several issues with her foot and the care to include the bedside mannerisms while she was at the hospital was very caring and family feeling. He speaks in a very realistic way to let you know every step but also the next step. That is why when i was recently in an accident, the choice was easy.

This was my first time to a Podiatrist and Dr. Marder was pleasant, friendly and funny. He basically took a glance at my x-ray and knew immediately the cause of my foot pain. He had a quick solution on how to make the pain go away, then walked me thru that process. I recommend Dr. Marder for assisting with finding comfort in whatever aches and pains you may have in your feet and/or ankles. He was in and out quickly, but took care of my needs and answered my questions.

I was able to get in to see the doctor the day of my call! The office was easy to find. The office staff were as personable, helpful, and friendly in person as they were on the phone. Dr. Marder spent ample time with me, answered my questions, and took care of my problem (I left feeling better than I did when I arrived). When I called the next day with a question, the office was again helpful and thorough. Dr. Marder was recommended by my mother, and I can see why.

just had my first appointment with Dr Marder- my gosh, I love him and wonderful staff !! From the first phone call to book appointment, his "Lillian" was so nice, made me feel so comfortable- and his nurse and office staff were welcoming and very sweet - could not have been more professional. Dr Marder is charming, knowledgeable, and straightforward guy...just what I and the world need in a medical field. No immediate customized items or surgery -just reasonable orthotics - I already feel better

I had an excellent visit to Dr. Charles Marder on October 10, 2016 for my diabetic feet examination, calluses removal, and examination of rough dry skin of my feet. He is a highly professional and compassionate podiatrist. He is very thorough in his medical examination of all areas of my feet and truly dedicated to help his patients. He does not rush with his patients and explains all details. I recommend him strongly to any patient. Dr. Marder and his staff are very courteous and friendly.
