Couldn’t recommend a better surgeon
Dr. Hubbard is an incredibly talented physician. I could not recommend a more competent surgeon for corrective and general surgeries specializing in ankles and feet. He is not only exceptionally knowledgeable of his field of expertise, he is attentive and only wants the absolute best outcome come for his patients.

Compassionate and thorough
He was very compassionate and explained the nature of the injury and the anatomy really well to my daughter. We left feeling like we understood what she needed to do to heal and if we needed to call again, what to look watch with her ankle.

Worst Dr. No customer service
I will never be back at this place. He has no customer service, talks murders and stuff he seen on Instagram vs seeing the patients he is running 1 hour behind on, no consideration of people's time and then tells me not to make a follow up, follow up for what when I NEVER saw anyone.

Happy with results!
I have had issues with bunions on both feet from the time I was a child and never knew why. When I first went to see Dr. Hubbard he took X-rays and ask me random questions about foot pain. He explain to me what was going on and why I have had bunions most of my life. Most of my life I have been a runner but had to stop because the pain in my feet was too much to handle. Due to all my foot issues I have had mobility problems and the lack of mobility caused me to gain a lot of weight. I appreciate that he listen to my actual problems and didn’t just say if you lose weight it would be better. In the past I have shied away from doctors because of this. I have now had my first bunion with plantar fasciitis surgery. I am a little under 2 weeks post op with little to no pain, can move around without crutches and just walk using the boot. My foot looks amazing even with the swelling. I cannot wait to get the second surgery and have my life returned to me!

Recommended unnecessary surgery
I went to see Dr Hubbard for a metatarsal fracture. I met him about 5 weeks after the fracture, the pain was completely gone and I thought I was healing. He proceeded to tell me that I had to do a surgery because it could NEVER heal by itself. I was so shocked by this news that I decided to get a second opinion (after I was not able to schedule an appointment for said surgery for over a week since no one in his scheduling team was picking up the phone or answering emails?!). The second doctor told me I shouldn't do any surgery and it could even shatter my bone even more. Sure enough about a month later, my fracture was fully healed and I am walking perfectly fine. To this day, I am not sure if he is incompetent or just wanted to make more money by recommending an unnecessary and potentially harmful surgery.

Dr. Hubbard is a very knowledgeable podiatrist and surgeon. I felt very comfortable and confident when receiving his care for pre-op, surgery, and post-op. He did a great job communicating all procedures and involved me in decision making about my care plan. Thank you, Dr. Hubbard!

Dr. Hubbard listened to determine the problem I was experiancing and started with the least invasive options. Eventually surgery was required. The surgery and post ops visits went well and five weeks post surgery I'm happy with the outcome.

Dr. Hubbard diagnosed my foot pain as Plantar Fascitus and was going to schedule me for an Endoscopic Fasciotomy of both feet. Went to an Orthopedic Surgeon recommended by my PCP and he flatly stated that an Endoscopic Fasciotomy would have been a waste of time and money (his words). Diagnosed Neuropathy of the soles of the feet and prescribed Gabapentin. Would not have written this, but my PCP recommended both of these doctors. Always get a second opinion!

I have been a patient of Dr. Hubbard for a number of years. My feet are terrible but he has been able to provide quite a bit of relief from consistent pain and discomfort. I understand my feet are a chronic condition yet he has been able to help me cope. He is very caring, knowledgeable, professional yet personable. I highly recommend Dr. Hubbard.

Details on a formal complaint to the TX Medical Board, but Dr. Hubbard was extremely quick to diagnose slightly curled toes were the cause of foot pain, but trusting him as the “expert” i let him do the surgery. 6 mths later pain is still there and 2nd dr found the true problem and fixed it very easily. Now i’m Left with chronic pain & disfigured foot, all thanks to a negligent Mis-diagnosis not based on an MRI. COO told me that Dr’s in this practice (OACT) are paid based on work, bad agenda.

Dr. Hubbard has seen me many times and I have had 3 surgeries (1 elective, 2 that I messed up myself from the elective), and then another elective recently. He is Awesome. He is personable and is clear in his suggestions to make you better. I have learned to trust him fully and appreciate his patients with a FORMER non compliant patient. I am an RN and can say he is one of the best I have seen and I have had issues with my feet for years. I recommend him to everyone needing foot/ankle services.

He misdiagnosed me. I knew it but how can a mere mortal ever question a doctor? I had surgery. It made things worse. I am in worse pain and because of his misdiagnosis he created more pain and new areas of pain. You can see him but if you need surgery he is not your MD. SEE AN ORTHOPEDIC SURGEON WHO SPECIALIZES IN FEET! I am going to have to do that. But who needs to pick up the tab? ME! I am devastated! I knew he was wrong and a mere mortal was right!

Have had a total of 3 surgeries so far on just right foot, in a year, and still dealing with it from a simple bunionectomy. Bad experience. Have a usual wait time of 1/2 hour to 1 hour still, AFTER appointment time. Went to a different doctor for left foot because I couldn't wait anymore for right to heal enough- is vastly different... I'm super mad/sad.
