A Surgeon Is Only as Strong as His Team
Dr. Gordon is a skilled surgeon, and my neck surgery went well. But who you hire matters. My experience with Precision Spine was exhausting. My referral was submitted on 2-21-24. I followed up constantly and waited 125 days for an appointment. I was told to buy a back brace off Amazon. I was passed around, misinformed about insurance, and ignored. Even after surgery, no one followed through. As of 3-24-25, it has been 397 days since I first sought help. I cannot sit for long, my legs go numb, and my life is impacted in every way. My back has always been my priority. I have a high pain tolerance, so this level of pain is alarming. They dropped my insurance without notice. The communication failures, expired referrals, and staff disorganization make this office unsafe. A surgeon is only as strong as the team that supports him, and this team failed me.

A++ rating! Dr. Gordon came highly recommended by one of his colleagues, and now through personal experience, by me! The spinal fusion procedure he performed has alleviated my disc pain, and was far less invasive than previous spinal fusions I have had. I highly recommend him as a fine, highly skilled and knowledgeable neurosurgeon. His attention to detail shines as does his character - just read his book, In Plain Sight -Seeing God’s Signature Throughout Creation!

I'm a 25 year old man with no previous history of neck/back problems. About a year ago I was involved in a car accident that left me with a slipped disc in my C5/6 vertebrae, which was putting pressure on my spinal cord and leaving me with incredible pain throughout my neck and back. After reviewing the options with Dr. Gordon, we decided that the best option moving forward was to explore less-invasive measures including epidural injections. After 4 months and two epidural injections, the pain hadn't been alleviated to an acceptable level and we re-opened the discussion of surgery where we landed on a cervical spine discectomy. I had my operation just over 3 months ago, removing the slipped disc and replacing it with an artificial one. I've been incredibly grateful every single day to have undergone such an invasive operation without a hitch. I'm 100% recovered and feeling better than ever. I also felt completely comfortable and taken care of throughout the whole process. 10/10!!

Dr. Charles Gordon and his staff are top notch a-1 in my book he has been my Dr. since 1997 he has done surgery on me 6-times on different areas of my spine and both hand for corporal tunnel. I have done well and recovered completely and been without pain after each surgery and was able after recovery to return to my job. He and his staff at Precision Spine Care are the best. I am 65 years old and just released today after having 4 disk fused in my neck 6 weeks ago I hope this will be the last surgery I need but am glad to know they are there if I need them. God Bless. I had a cervical disc fusion. It was the best thing I ever did Not only do I think he is a very skilled surgeon and just totally awesome, he also has a wonderful bedside manner. It was the best experience. I had to hold my arms up high to relieve pain prior to the surgery. Now I can do anything, And the scar is totally in the crease of my throat as he had promised. People don't even notice my scar unless I point it out. If this chart had 10 stars available, I would give it 20 stars. My surgery was in 1996 or 97. His nurse Sherry is just as awesome. I heard she is still with him. Regina Risner

Dr. Gordon performed a discectomy on my L5 disc. I had been in severe pain for four months. He took one look at my MRI and said "We are about to take care of this". He performed my surgery seven days later. When I woke up in recovery, the pain was gone. I have had an amazing recovery. He is a wonderful Christian man as well as an accomplished surgeon. I can't thank him enough.

Dr. Gordon is the best doctor. He is compassionate and genuinely cares for his patients. I recommend him to anyone that is having back and spine problems. He listened to my concerns and he explained in detail any procedures. He prays with his patients and takes each case individually and treats them as such. He took away my limp due to pain. He took away my pain almost completely but im not done healing. I have no doubt that my pain will go away in the 6 to 8 months left in my healing process. I am forever grateful for Dr. Gordon.

I had chronic back pain for years and was afraid to have surgery. My healthcare provider recommended Dr Gordon. I liked him immediately, he made me feel at ease and provided non-surgical options initially. I tried those & they were not successful. We discussed it and I agreed to surgery. He, again, made me feel at ease and thoroughly explained the procedure. His office worked well with my insurance. His surgery scheduler, Katie, was wonderful and kept me updated. I ultimately had the surgery and my horrible chronic back pain is gone!! I very highly recommend Dr Gordon and his staff. I have such a better quality of life without that pain. Thank you to Dr Gordon, Katie, and all the staff!!!!

Dr. Gordon was highly recommended by a health professional. He is so pleasant, kind and a caring professional. My first impression was he wanted to help me to get better. He explained exactly what I had going on in my neck.He gave me options with surgery being last...I chose the latter. Thanks Dr. Gordon, James Wortham and your caring staff. I feel so much better. I got my life back.I certainly recommend Precision Spine Care to my family and friends! June 7, 2020

Dr Charles Gordon has performed several back surgeries on me and I would not have anyone else operate on my back. He is the most kind, caring and capable surgeon that I know. He is a Christian man and always prays with you before surgery, which I appreciate so very much and he always praises God with you when your results are good. I would recommend Dr Gordon to anyone and everyone. He has been a big part of restoring my life to normal again!
