Dr. Charles Dickson Jr, MD

Dr. Dickson is a excellent Urologist. I have been seeing him for five years and would highly recommend him. He is very professional and thorough with his examinations. He is truly a 5 star urologist.

I always believe I am in good hands with Chuck and his team.

I have been using Dr. Dickson for over 20 years. I have total confidence and trust in him. Sometimes one might have to wait in the waiting area but this is only because he is so very thorough with his patients. I have seen him and maybe he did not have to spend over 10 minutes with me, but if he realized there was a problem that he had not expected,his time spent with me would be much longer. This would mean of course that other patients would have to wait. Surely patients would realize that he gives 100% of his attention to each patient. At times I have had to wait and do not mind waiting because I know that he is with another patient and he gives 100% of his attention to each patient he sees. One thing I appreciate so much about Dr. Dickson is that he doesn't 'beat around the bush but is completely open and honest about ones medical condition...I like That! I would recommend Dr. Dickson to anyone I know that needs an outstanding urologist!

Great urologist, good surgical techniques, heavy emphasis on preventive medicine, and demonstrated good concern and care for my wife.

Don’t usually make recommendations to anybody for anything. However, if asked, I would tell them that I have used Dr Dickson & have been happy with him & his staff.

Don't expect to be seen anywhere near your appointment time even if you have an appointment first thing in the morning. Figure on Dr. Dickson rolling in to see you about 45 minutes after your appointment. Their whole setup anymore is a waiting game, from the electronic sign in on. The only time there isn't a wait is to pay the bill. That is paid right up front. Even though I have used Dr. Dickson for years, I have decided to look for another Urologist who might be on time.

I wouldn’t use this man if he were the only urologist in Tyler! He was very insulting to my 90+ year old professional Daddy. Daddy had to wait with his elderly wife for two hours and when it was his turn, after 5:00pm, he suggested it would be good if they would come out and let a patient know what emergency is holding him up. Dr Dickson sent him a letter within a few days dismissing him as a patient!!! This is unacceptable!!! Even his staff said he was always late in the afternoon hours??
