Didn't experience the grandeur
It was a second opinion apt on a referral from an administrator in S.D. My patient experience with the surgeon led me to get right up to walk out. The apt started with an attempt at viewing most recent full-spine images. When he realized I had not seen then yet, he fumbled back to older radiographic images then began cross-examining me on my first opinion apt with his colleague in S.D. for requesting a 2nd opinion apt by the S.D. Administrator. He berated me for it, stating 'I don't care if you go to an administrator.' When he noticed I was going to leave, he opened the door and called his RN into the room, leaving the door open the rest of the time. Hopeless and with no symptom relief, my next apt was 2 mo after. Late afternoon the day before a next day, first a.m. apt, Staff called stating he was cancelling the apt b/c 'the referral should have gone to neurosurgery.' I arrived anyway requesting to be seen. Dr. Fribourg's office said Dr. Chang WORKS in neurosurgery.
