Knowledgeable, Kind & Helpful

I am working with Dr. Rose. The other reviews concerned me before I met her, but I kept an open mind. Yes, she looks down during telehealth calls because she is taking notes which I expect and appreciate. She also wears thick glasses so I imagine that is another reason for what others have said. I have found her to be kind, knowledgeable, thorough and flexible.

Biggest waste of time and money
Telehealth
I should have heeded the warnings of other reviews - do not make the same mistake I made! She spent almost the entirety of the appointment looking down at her notes, asking brief questions (close-ended answers), not really engaging in open conversation that would have given a better assessment of my concerns and goals. At the end of the appointment she recommended a lengthy, intensive outpatient program, to which I responded I would think about it. Within 30 minutes of ending the appointment, I received a call from an outpatient program wanting to schedule registration and appointments. She didn't listen to me at all. Nothing but a waste of time, and money. Do yourself a favor and avoid 'Dr.' Rose.

In less than an hour of talking with me she determined that my previous year of therapy with a different counselor was 'unfortunate'. She didn't listen to anything I was saying or trying to say. I mostly stared at the top of her head because she didn't even make eye contact with me. By far, the worst visit with a therapist that I've ever had, which is truly unfortunate.

Would not recommend.
Had an intake appointment with Dr Rose via Zoom and from the start, she barely made eye contact with me (whats the point of a video chat?), only asked very generic yes/no questions, didn't ask me what my history and goals are, and then worst of all, told me one of my previous diagnosis was wrong and that I should stop taking my medication, even though those meds have changed my life and were not the meds or condition I was trying to change. She was very nonchalant about and said if I didn't like it that I should get another opinion. She dismissed my concerns and left me upset and without the help I waited 6 months to get. Was a really lousy experience that ruined my day and damaged my mental health.

Worst psychiatrist experience ever! I've seen several psychiatrists in the past and my advice to you is to see someone else. She doesn't seem to care about her patients and doesn't take the time to listen and quickly rush to judgement. On top of that her staff is rude and incompetent.
