Outstanding surgeon and very professional with a warm personality. She really cared for my wife every step of the way with lots of explaining and answering any and every question we had. I have nothing but great respect for her professionalism!

She is absolutely amazing. She goes above & beyond for her patients & treats u like u are not merely just a MRN but that u are someone that is very important to someone like as if u are her own family.., as if she views her patients thinking, "what if this were my sibling, parent, spouse or otherwise loved person & in that, she goes to every extent to get your medical/physical/surgical/life & death issues resolved & she dedicates herself to being the one whom takes care of you until you & sticks with you until u are well (which in my case, meant saving my life with a difficult & risky tumor surgery.) She does she just abandon you leaving you alone & scared trying to desperately find another surgeon/physician or even worse, just tell you "there is nothing that she can do to help you" (which in some cases like mine would have meant death) & broken hearted family, widowed husband, motherless children, etc. We even had an insurance obstacle & yet (most always, this is where MOST physicians use for an out & just send u along with "sorry about that...Goodluck (which translates to they don't really care & will go about their days not even thinking twice). But Dr. Davis persevered & made it happen. She got me here to Baylor, she believed me when I told her that I would not make it without surgery to remove the tumor which was like I claimed, very large & dangerously touching other vital organs & constricting my lungs & ability to get air with more than significant pain. Surgery proved all this to be more than accurate. She was an answered prayer & God's hand was in this. I am alive. Dr. Davis is an Earth Angel to me & my husband, family & other bc she refused to give up, bc she listened to God & to me & bc she truly is gifted and a forever hero to me and those whom love me. Absolutely recommend her. She saved my life and we are grateful.

Reservations about Dr. Davis
Dr. Davis seemed like a wonderful doctor. She explained things well and was attentive to my husband after the Whipple surgery. My husband had bile duct cancer and didn’t make it. But I was very disappointed that she was not registered with Texas Health and Human Services electronic system in order to sign the death certificate electronically. It took approximately 6 weeks to get death certificates which caused me unnecessary stress as I was unable to take care of financial affairs. Finally another doctor who apparently was registered signed the death certificate. Very disappointed in Dr. Davis not taking care of this mundane task as soon as she was a licensed MD in the Stare of Texas.
