What stood out to me the most about my first and only appointment is she listened for a few beats, decided I was med seeking and harshly stated she would not be prescribing ADHD medication. All I wanted to do was to tell her my symptoms to see if I had ADHA. I was so offended at not being listened to or heard I left. As it turns out I was evaluated and am formally diagnosed with ADHD. It was the accusation of trying to use her for meds that was so offensive.

I have met her through her work as an educator for children. As a fellow homeschooling parent, and, even though we've got a young relationship, I can tell that she is the real deal. Smart, witty, fun, intelligent, and, deep down, full of compassion. Not gonna sugar coat. You want that, go to a bakery.

I don’t understand any of the bad reviews about Dr. Mikulka. This woman has absolutely saved my life. I have been managing my mental health with her for 5 years now. In my opinion, she is professional and brilliant. I have been to many psychiatrists throughout my young adulthood and my life finally started changing for the better after seeing Dr. Mikulka. I seriously owe her so much for everything she has done for me. Her insight and knowledge about mental health is incredible. I speak very highly of her. Thank you Dr. Mikulka for everything you do!!

If you are in need of abuse she’s your gal. Arrogant, mean spirited wretch of a women. Recommended to her, I was told the people who wrote the bad reviews were those that couldn’t take the truth. Oh I thought that’s what I need, the truth! Her blistering indifference and cavalier attitude was jaw dropping. It’s astounding she still has a license. Experience was akin to flogging but I paid for it. If you value your mental health stay clear of this deeply troubled person posing as a doctor.

What a horrible woman. She should have her license revoked for being so horribly awful to her patients. If you have no real issues by all means visit this evil witch. However, if you need actual help don’t even enter the building.

I have been seeing Dr Mikulka for 6 months. She has a "no nonsense" style that can be off-putting at first. However, she is insightful and intuitive. She properly diagnosed me quickly, and has been very supportive. She is not a "counselor", if that is what you need (although she has spent time with me discussing various difficulties I am having). If you are looking for long sessions of therapy, find a good counselor. Dr Mikulka will prescribe meds, as needed, and will refer for counselling.

Horrible. Rude, does not care or listen

She is mean and talked to me like I was a piece of garbage. I will not see her again beware.........

I was a bit apprehensive to see Dr. Mikulka based on the reviews. However, she came highly recommended from a professional friend so I took a chance. She was very direct and calls it like she sees it. She is like the friend that says "you have spinach in your teeth", rather than telling you perhaps what you want to hear. I found her informative, professional, and very passionate about her work. I highly recommend her, but suggest you keep an open mind and expect to work for results.
