Rude,Uncaring staff.
I was supposedly a patient of Dr Miller. However, showing up at my scheduled time, waited for an hour. If I show up at the agreed time, then have the decency to return the favor. Was asked if I wanted to reschedule, no, I want to get the help I drove 45 minutes for. The staff was extremely rude and uncaring, is this what you call help for a person with mental issues? It's the lack of care, thought and professional behavior displayed by your staff that causes people like me to loose faith. So, Dr Miller, you and especially your staff have FAILED. I knew you would be no different than all the other so called "professionals" I have seen. At least you could have gave me 10 minutes out of my so called 1 hour session. So, if you need help, I cannot recommend this office. We are nothing but a number to them.

Caring, brilliant, knowledgeable, has your back
Out of my experiences with at least 14 psychiatrists, Dr. Carly Miller is by far the best. She cares! She understands me on a deep level, which is uncommon. She helps me feel stronger because she understands me, when most psychiatrist didn’t try. She’s been very sensitive to the way my body reacts to pharmaceuticals, when we have a session, she’s paying direct attention to me and she’s not distracted by anything else. The waiting room is not attractive, but her staff is great and her office is beautiful. She is also, by far, is the most stylish doctor or therapist that I’ve ever worked with! She lights up the room with her caring and beautiful energy and with the beautiful colors and art with which she both decorates her office and with her personal style. That’s not that important to psychiatric work, but it beats the way most psychiatrist dress, which tends to be frumpy! Adding beauty and color and style to my psychiatric experience is helpful in lifting my mood.

I saw Dr. Miller for one appointment for medication management after moving here. I practiced pediatric dentistry for 25 years, and this is the first time ever doing this. In addition, my daughter is a medical malpractice DEFENSE attorney, who advised me to share as well as file a complaint wire the medical board which I have done. Long story short, she did not want to prescribe a medication I had been taking for 20 years, and wanted me to start on a new med. she wanted me to discontinue one other drug. Unknown to me before getting to pharmacy, she prescribed the medication she had told me she wanted me off of, and failed to prescribe the new medication. I called the office the next day where I told her voice mail and asked someone to call me back for clarification. No one did. My primary care doc called her and she denied wanting to give me a new med, and said it was impossible for me to have left a message because she has an answering service. To date she has not sent me my records.

Dr.. Carly Miller is a wonderful, very professional Psychiatrist; she's helped me & others through a lot of different incidents that caused great upset. She uses the time she needs to help her patients get to a better place before they leave the Appt. She's a very patient, empathetic, & caring Dr. I'm glad my friend referred me to her!

I didn’t feel comfortable talking to her. She has an air about her that is very better than tho. I felt like she was rushing me and that it was all about getting the patient in and out as quickly as possible. In short, she was icy and her bedside manner was anything but welcoming. And to be very honest, my overall impression is her clinic is just a pill mill. I left with multiple prescriptions and a referral her husband’s “pain” management clinic right next door.

Really needs better time management. Not sure why the office schedules appointments for times Dr. Miller can't and won't meet. If I don't get in at the 8:00 AM ish appointment, you can wait up to an hour to get seen. Even utilizing telemedicine, which should make time management more achievable, it doesn't happen. I love Doctor Miller's understanding and depth of knowledge., but she and her team need to do a much better job in schedule management. If you are a busy professional, I would probably find another Doctor to go see. Or book the 8:00 AM appointments only.

I have been a patient of Dr. Miller’s for a few years and she has been wonderful. She is not just a pill pusher and listens to what I have to say. I really feel that she values my thoughts and feeling regarding treatment. I also love the staff! Samantha has always been super helpful whether in person or on the phone. It’s nice to go to a faculty where the staff knows you and you’re not just another patient. I highly recommend Dr. Miller and her associates if you are looking for real help not just a prescription.

The office wait times can be ridiculously long, appointment or none. The staff at reception are rude and express no compassion, which is even more distressing to one who is experiencing a negative mental episode. The doctor can be abrupt and seem aloof and uncaring. Additionally, and apparently, she reserves the right to abruptly discontinue patient care without an explanation. Notwithstanding the status of your emotional frailty. I found out that out the hard way. You should research alternatives. There are other much more patient psychiatrists in the area.

I am a licensed counselor and I have seen Dr. Miller and her staff for over 3 years now (for management of both Peripheral Neuropathy and depression/anxiety). I have been a mental health professional in the field for over 30 years and I see her practice as excellent and her staff is both caring and concerned. Too many people expect an instant fix to their problems when there isn't one. A mental health worker is there to help us find our own answers to our problems, not to fix them for us.

Terrible. The office has 10 chairs crowded into a small room with no ventilation. During my 2 1/2 hour wait, there were up to 14 people in the room waiting. The phone is NEVER answered and the staff returned 1 of 4 calls during a period of weeks and that was 5 days after call. Very poor business management. NOT a good first impression.

I can't say enough good things about this doctor and her office! It takes a while to get the first appointment, but worth the wait! She spent over 60 minutes on my first visit and didn't act rushed or judgmental. I was able to cut down unnecessary meds and get the best one to help me. I had to cancel an appointment and they got me in the same day I called to reschedule! They treat you like a real person, really care.

You can't speak to a person when you call. They do not call back within 24 hours as indicated on the answering machine. Scheduling isn't flexible. Felt like I was judged. Not easy to talk to. Rushed through appointment. Not knowledgeable on interactions of medications. Likes to prescribe tons of medication. Was diagnosed improperly although prescribe medications for that diagnosis. Be careful going here. She had me on 4 antidepressants at same. Left here more depressed and anxious. Felt crazy
