Extremely professional and kind
I was more than impressed with my visit with Dr. Woodward today and his assistant Jackie. I came in with an injury and was concerned I needed to have surgery. Jackie, met me with a big smile and was informative and made me feel very comfortable. Only a few minutes later, Dr. Woodward introduced himself and sat down and throughly explained all the odds and ends of my injury and immediately was able to diagnose and treat. His knowledge and quick treatment was very clear, direct, and concise. Dr. Woodward, also explained how to maintain and handle my injury and took his time to make sure I knew what was necessary to do until my next visit. I was able to leave his office with a sense of relief and would 10/10 recommend to anyone.

Extremely professional
He takes the time to listen, and explains the problem and its solution in details that can easily be understood by someone outside the medical profession. He's in good physical condition, obviously doing a good job of looking after his own health, so my health is in good hands.

In the beginning, my experience, was excellent. But after my 4th bilateral carpel and guyon's tunnel, and bilateral thumb joint replacements surgeries,he then said I needed surgery again, right after I had back surgery. I told him no, I can't go thru another surgery right now, he said fine. When I called for some pain meds, he had his receptionist tell me I was no longer his patient! I had been seeing him for years. Fast forward several years, I'm now in Orlando. I just had cubital tunnel syndrome surgery with an EXCELLANT doctor who told me Dr. Woodward had a reputation for being knife happy!

Dr. Woodward is a great surgeon. I have had carpal tunnel surgery, trick finger, and right shoulder surgery done by Dr. Woodward. Thorough exam, and tests before. He also makes you feel at ease about the surgery.. I have recommended him to many people, and all have been happy. Last person I recommended, was my husband and he too, was extremely satisfied with his shoulder surgery. Thanks, Dr. Woodward!

Just excellent to put it simply. Dr. Woodward repaired the rotator cuff, removed a large bone spur which caused the injury and in the process found another lesser spur and removed that too. Explained in details how the surgery went, what caused the injury and joked about what not to do in the process of recovery and therapy. Highly recommend him. I wish that more doctors were like this doctor is, and he does not push his patients out the door on a five minute visit. He takes his time with the patient.

I am a patient of Dr. Woodward and have been for a few years. I had surgery on my right hand 4 months ago. The surgery went fine. However, last week I fractured my hand, the same hand he did the surgery on. I had the x-rays sent to his office, since this happened on a Sunday. I was told to see a orthopaetic, which Dr. Woodward is. I called the office and was told he does not "do" fractures. Really?? The people in his front office should all be replaced. Rude, rude, rude. The one who answers the phone is the worse. I went to another hand specialist. Thank you Dr. Woodward for not caring! I always recommended Dr. Woodward in past. My daughter couldn't believe he would not see me. One star only.

Been going to him 2 years. He did rotator cuff both shoulders and carpal tunnel. He said I needed a new shoulder a year ago. Went to see him about the Dupuytren Contraction and told me to wait till my fingers would not open at all. Also told me to use a 5-7 pound weight and exercise my shoulders, which I am still doing my PT from Rotator cuff Labrum tears.

Dr. Woodward is the only Orthopedic surgeon I would use for hand, arm or shoulder surgery. He has done three surgeries on my shoulders. Each for different injuries. As an athlete I have beat my shoulders up. Dr. Woodward has not only excellent surgical skills, but excellent bed side manner as well. Love him!

Used to be a fan because he’s done good work for me in the past, but had trigger thumb and finger surgery in May, and the results are awful. The thumb? Lost range of motion. The finger, it’s still triggering, I have a gigantic lump in my palm, an area in my palm that will not heal, and now my finger pulls towards towards my pinky whenever I try to grip anything.

This is the best doctor I have experianced yet. He repaired my torn rotator cuff and not only did I get full use back, I experianced very little pain in recovery! This low pain is very rare for this type of shoulder surgery. Highly recommend!

I credit Dr. Woodward with going above and beyond to return full use of my hands, arms, and in the process manage to save my neck as well. i was a patient from 2001 to 2005 and I am in need of his services. I don't know what qualifications a patient must have in order to pass the front desk but given that it is his original work at stake I would think that it would have some baring on admittance to the inner sanctum and the ladies at the desk should take that into consideration.

I have heard nothing but good things about this doctor. However his receptionist is the one of the rudest people I have encountered. I am in need of a specific and urgent surgery. Dr Woodward is one of the only docotors in the county who does this type of surgery. I was unable to schedule and appt or to get any information. This woman is immature, rude, and extremely inconsiderate! I have never left a review for anything before but feel this needs to be addressed for the sake of his patients!!!

Dr Woodward is a great surgeon, great bed side manner. The problem is his front desk staff. They are rude, they do not forward messages and make it where you just leave the practice such as I did along with several other friends and family members-all because of the front desk staffing. Such a shame since Dr Woodward is very good at what he does.
